BELLAMYS POV

Static.

'Bell-'

The radio buzzed in Ravens hand.

'Rave-' Clarke's voice filled the room, static stopping us from hearing what she was saying, all but one final instruction. '-Don't wait.'

My heart dropped.

I felt sick.

No.

I couldn't.

'No! Clarke!' I snatched the radio from where raven had it placed on the table, pressing random buttons in a futile attempt to hear Clarke's voice.

'Bellamy we have to go'

'I know raven. But I can't. I can't leave her here. I can't do it.' I began to feel a single drop of water fall down my cheek.

'Bellamy. I will stand by whatever you do. But we need you too. We can't survive 5 years with no leader. If we're loosing Clarke. We need you.' Raven began to trip over her words, a feeling settling over the room.

'Let him go reyes'

Murphy slowly climbed down the ladder, 'he needs to go to Clarke. You'll have me. Emory. Harper. Monty. You have us, but if any of us are going to survive. We need to go now.'

I felt a shaking hand on the back of my shoulder,'May we meet again' Murphy spoke calmly, turned around, and silently entered the ship.

Raven enveloped me in a hug, her tears seeping through my thin jacket. 'May we meet again Bellamy Blake,' she spoke with determination,' now go save your princess.'

And with that final order, she and the rest of my friends disappeared into the sky, leaving me alone in the lab with two things. A radio, and determination.

Determination to find the woman i love.

CLARKE'S POV.

The heat was unbearable, thick layers of pure red destruction rolled over the hills towards me, and the realisation hit me like a brick to the face. I wasn't going to make it back in time. I wasn't going to be able to see their faces one last time. To see his face.

But I mustn't think like this. I must keep going. For I may not make it. But they must live.

He must live.

They knew my wishes, 'don't wait' is the order I gave, unaware as to wether they could actually hear me over the roaring death that sped towards us.

I began the climb.

The power supply was broken, the monitor and controls dead and useless. There was only one way I could save them. And it would cost me everything.

And maybe after everything I've done.

This is the fate I deserve.

A.N. Exams are draining my entire soul. I need to seriously drop out of life at this point. But here's chapter 2. Hope you like it
