your makeup artist was putting on the finishing touches to your lipstick while the male actor for your music video was preparing on set. you were not going to lie, the male actor was good-looking, but your best friend, minsik, was more handsome.
you secretly had been harboring a crush on the playful boy for while. you've tried to charm him multiple times but he still hasn't made a move.
your makeup artist gave you the okay to go on set. you took your place near the actor. the scene was at an amusement park. you guys were supposed to act really friendly with each other.
your song was about unrequited love which was inspired by the situation that you thought were in. you and the actor would be friends but progressively throughout the song, you would begin to drift further apart from him after confessing.
the camera rolled while you guys shared one large cotton candy. you both bit into opposite sides of the cotton candy and pretended to laugh with each other. you playfully but lightly hit his arm and chuckled. after a few more seconds of the scene, you went back to your normal state when the cameras stopped rolling.
"hey, [y/n]," a voice called out, causing you to jump. you turned around and saw minsik by the snack table. it was hard to recognize him because he himself was a whole snack.
"hey yourself," you responded as you walked over to the table. "here to steal my refreshments?"
"more like here to support your music video," he stated.
"thanks for being here," you thanked him before letting him know that you were needed back on set.
the next scene was you guys sitting on a couch and pretending to watch movies together. the two of you threw popcorn and candy at each other, acting like you guys were having a blast. in some way, you were.
you glanced over at minsik to see if he was still there. to your surprise, he looked uneasy. his fists kept clenching and unclenching while he held a stone cold gaze. did he get a bad phone call or something?
once the scene was over, the crew began to set up the next scene. it was a fake park set where you would confess to him as you guys sat on a bench. you fake-confessed to the actor. the actor apologized and shook his head as he walked away. imagining it was minsik, a real look of sadness dawned on your face.
