James' POV
I waited outside the school for Elise forever. It's been nearly fifteen minutes since the bell rang to go home and she still hasn't come out yet. Where the hell could she be!? It's not really like Elise to be fifteen minutes late coming out! I began looking around. The last of the buses took off to take the other kids home. Some kids wandered around the front of the school waiting for their parents or older siblings. Others goofed off in the front of the school, I headed back inside and went to Elise's classroom. No one was in there, not even Elise's teacher...her teacher had a substitute today. I turned and walked back outside and sat on the bench that sat right outside the entrance doors. I must have sat there for another fifteen minutes before I went to the front desk. The lady at the desk smiles at me, "Hi James! What's up!?" She asks, "I can't find my sister...It isn't like her to be this late coming outside, I've waited out there for over half an hour!" I say. The lady now looks frightened, "Oh my! Your parents never signed her out either! Who is her teacher again!?" The lady asked trying to keep calm. I felt my heart racing and my face flooding with fear and hotness, "She has Ms. Daniels, but Daniels has a sub today!" I say trying to keep myself under control just like the front desk lady. She stands up immediately and hurries to the back office, I follow her. I see her swing the door open to the principal's office, "Excuse me! This young man said his younger sister never came out of the building when the bell rang! He's been waiting thirty minutes and he can't find her anywhere!", the principal stands up quickly, his chair nearly falling backwards, he looks over at me. "Did your parents sign her out!?" He says in a panicky voice, I shake my head, I felt the rest of my body shaking as well. The principal covers his mouth and then let's his hand slowly flop down to his side, "Damn it! Lydia I want you to get on the phone and dial the parents and then the police!" He orders and the office desk lady, Lydia, rushes back to her desk and starts dialing. The principal sees I'm shaking, "Keep calm son! We'll find her!" He says as assuringly as he can. He storms out of the office and I see him running out to his car and getting in. He takes off and speeds down the road, I don't know where on earth he's gonna start looking for her! I thought. At this point I started crying.. hard. I thought this was gonna be a great day....
Lori's POV
I waited up for the kids to come home...They never did. I was getting a bit uneasy and worried, it's been nearly an hour since school let out. I paced back and forth in the living room with my hands cupped together and below my beasts as if I was praying. And I was. Then I heard my phone ring...
Mike's POV
I got the call only a few minutes ago and I felt like my heart stopped. Like the whole world had stopped spinning. I have never felt this type of fear in my entire life! My baby girl is MISSING! I nearly crashed a couple dozen times on the way to the school. I knew Lori was next to get the call, all I knew at this point in time was I Had to get there!. Police needed to be notified and we needed to start looking for my little girl!. It's happening again!.
Lori's POV
I dropped the phone to the ground and my entire body felt completely numb. My cheeks were hot and tears rolled down my face even though my face was straight. I yanked the keys from the counter and got in my car rushing down to the school. I knew Mike had gotten the call and I knew he would be at the school when I got there.
James' POV
I was sitting outside the school doors on that bench next to a police officer and Lydia the office desk lady. The cop was asking a ton of questions to try and help them identify her. I was still crying at this point and the policeman had to keep calming me down. I've never been so terrified in my entire life! This was the worst day of my life! I'll never forget this. I kept praying to God, Please let her be safe! Please protect my little sister! Please God Please!! I was shaking worse than ever now and the tears kept coming and my heart felt like it was gonna beat out of my chest. I didn't see them pull up but next thing I knew my parents were right in front of me.
Lori's POV
I held James in my arms as he was still panicking and very upset...like all of us. I cried with him as Mike spoke with the policeman, "How the fuck did this even happen!? For someone to take a hold of her and run off with her with NONE of those supervisors seeing anything!...?" I kept collecting bits and pieces of what Mike was saying to the cop, the cop kept saying, "Sir I understand you're upset, but right now we're trying to get the facts and a good description..." This was a nightmare! It's all happening again! I haven't felt this kind of horror in twenty years. But this time the terror has doubled!. It's our own little girl that's been abducted by some sick psychopath and we have NO idea where their whereabouts are!. My heart was breaking into a million pieces as I felt my face continue to drop as the corners of my mouth nearly reached my chin. Tears were gushing from my eyes more than ever now and I felt absolutely hysterical!. There was NO way any of us could control ourselves. I've never in twenty years seen Mike the way he is today. When am I gonna wake up!? Wake up Lori! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! I kept pinching my arm as hard as I could. I even drew blood, James kept yelling at me to stop and a cop had come over and pulls my hand away from my bleeding arm. "IT'S A DREAM THIS CAN'T BE REAL! THIS ISN'T HAPPENING!" I screamed, Mike was now in front of me, pinning my arms to my sides, "Hey hey hey, Lori listen to me! Listen! We're gonna find her! I promise you we're gonna find her! We've been through this before! Stay with me! Please Lori please!! I need you and James needs the both of us!" He says shaking me. I nod and take a few deep breaths, it didn't help but Mike was right. James needs the both of us!. Not one of us...
