We walked to the car pretty much silent, then Patrick decided we should stop and get some food since we had pretty much nothing left to eat besides popcorn, fruitloops and some candy.
"So where do you wanna go?"Patrick asked as he drove.
"You know that one little diner me and you always go to to talk and stuff? We should go there." I said smiling.
"Sounds good too me. Hopefully Pete's better soon."He replied
"Yeah I kinda feel bad because It's my fault, I, i guess you can say I got him excited to do something and he did it so yeah..." I said remembering my Pep talk well more like pep sentance.
"No.... No it's not your fault, you told him not to go because of the wind but you know Pete, he never listens."Patrick shrugged as we pulled up to the diner. We ordered quickly and just talked for a while.
"So.... What did Pete say when he whispered to you?" I asked sipping my milkshake.
"Oh nothing..."Patrick said mixing the strw around in his milkshake. I looked up from drinking and smiled.
"Oh c'mon don't be like that. You can tell me."
"You wouldn't tell anyone because well...."He said smirking
"Oh my god, well what?" I laughed.
"He told me...Now don't hurt me if it was a lie...But...Wait for it...He said...wait for it-"
"Patrick spit it out" I said poking him.
"He said you.....Like me..."Patrick said blushing a little
"Pfffftttttt..." I said looking down at the table so he wouldn't see me blush.
"Hah! Well... is it...ya know.. True?"Patrick asked still stiring his milkshake
"Well uh-"
"Here is your order."The waitress said putting the plates down in front of us. Wow isn't today just filled with interuptions?
"thank you" I said looking at here and smiling."Well...maybe...y-yeah." i said nervously.
"Really? Like, why? I mean look at me."Patrick said blushing some more.
"Exactlly look at you! You're just perfect and you listened and you're always helpfull and oh my god I just said waaaayyyy too much" I said blushing.
