Richie from being a lawyer intern even with a casual position has more point reward with a higher chance of perks. At his apartment that he shares with another lawyer on the sixth floor meaning they are better than third class. His lounge room has a large screen. Putting on the gear we prepare to fight earning treasure hunter coins and rare items. We played for hours stoping for fruitzee drink and crisp potato chips. By the time we finished I was calling for a taxi. We sat around waiting for our rides.
"You know I heard people use to play games to find bugs and figure out problems." Scot mention with a disarming smile.
Richie smiled "There were a lot of unusual jobs back then taste testers and dancers and sport players."
"I remember reading somewhere that they could be payed about million by the end of the year." Scot interjected "Toby if only you could do one of those things you would be able to pay off that house."
The group went all quiet. West spoke in a low quiet voice "They made those illegal."
Scot smile disappear and frown "Why they get rid of those anyway?"
"What do you think? Differences they don't want anyone to think for themself" West said with venom taking a swig of apple fizz.
Richie eyes bore into West his arms cross while he leans against the leather Lazy Boy. "That would have been bad ass if that was whiskey."
West raise his eyebrows up shaking his head. Scot and I look at him. Scot leans over towards me "Richie not right" tapping his finger to the temple of his head. It is funny when something will trigger a memory.
"Yeah" I said. "Says the one, who decided to get into a lion enclosure so they can get a selfie."
An octave higher "He what," Richie now fully standing up.
"A lion cage, either got guts or just plain stupid." West sinks back into a matching Lazy Boy.
"Scot just plain stupid, he even put metal a microwave not once but twice." My tones light and cheerful.
"Oh come on it was for an experiment." Scot arm move if trying to grab something out of the air. Before falling to his sides, "Besides" Scot voice becoming a mumble "it not like I dink a tuna smoothie."
The watch buzz, the screen flash green showing that is fifteen minutes away, with a sigh "I have to go" Toby said.
West watch buzz "Well guys it's been fun."
Saying our good byes' West and Toby walk to the elevator in silences. West fiddling with his watch with bright words of bet now, or knock out to win the money. West catching Toby eye curiosity glance. Not wanting to let West know Toby face the cold nickel doors. His spins raise like goosebumps. The number lighting four in yellow, West openly stared at Toby.
"Yes West?"
"So you're a Frankie now?" The question not hesitant or left unfinished came out if it was a barking dog out of the gate.
The word Frankie did not register "A Frankie?"
"A Frankenstein" straight to the point he stated.
The elevator door open; showing a large copy of a famous painting that is made completely of dots. Walking in West, press the ground button first.
"So are you?"
"yeah" Toby answer small while the black became thinker and the colour lighter.
West fiddle with his watch and started to sync with Toby watch that brought a message of a friend request. West select yes before Toby can utter a signal word.
