Chapter 12- Glare

Masato's POV

“Alright! I will surely make this photo shoot a great success!” I said to myself.

Camus-senpai just finished his solo photo, and Mikaze-senpai was next. I am fully prepared to model in these outfits. I must not cause any trouble for my fellow group members with a minor mess up.

I looked around the room a bit to check my surroundings. Jinguji was flirting away in the corner of the room with some girls. Ranmaru-san was napping in the corner, and Mikaze-senpai was reading the director notes. Ittoki, Aijima, and Shinomiya were all talking with each other. Camus-senpai was now reading a book, while sitting crossed-legged on a comfy looking chair.

Jinguji looked at me for a brief moment. He smirked a bit, and then winked. Blowing a kiss towards me, I shiver. All of the girls that saw it screeched. I turned away from Jinguji, to see what everyone was doing.

Ichinose-san and Kotobuki-senpai looked as if they were talking about something important. I had never seen Kotobuki-senpai with such a serious face before. I had only ever saw him with a smiling, “just joking!” face on.

“Mikaze-san! Could you please let us take your photos now?” The director yelled.

Mikaze-senpai got up, and then said:

“Of course. Thank you for working with us.”

I looked at Mikaze-senpai walk up to the white backdrop, and then get instructions from the director.

What a good man! I wish to be like him more than the all laughs idol, the sleeping idol, or the double-faced idol.

I looked around the room to see if there was any sign of Kurusu, but instead I saw something that made me feel uneasy. Kotobuki-senpai, the all smiles senpai, was sitting on his chair with a very, not smiling face. He looked very stern, as if he didn't want anything to do with the thing the was looking at.

The “thing” that he was looking at, was the idol, Ai Mikaze. Though, Mikaze-senpai isn't a thing.

How astonishing, I have never thought I would see this sight. Kotobuki-senpai was looking at Mikaze-senpai with dead eyes, as if he were trying to look at something within his soul.

Kotobuki-senpai started to scare me, so I went to speak with Jinguji instead.

“Oh, Hijirikawa, it's almost your birthday right? I'll get you something, what do you want?” Jinguji asked me.

“I do not wish for anything. Besides, it is still the 23 of December. My birthday is still plenty of days away.” I said

“Hah… Hijirikawa, your birthday is close. It's on the 29, that’s only six days away. Anyways, I have to leave for a bit. See ya in a couple minutes.”

Jinguji quickly left the scene, leaving me alone.
