Emma's pov: After Ethan and Meredith walked off laughing. I run to the bathroom before the bell goes, I pull up my jumper to reveal a bruise starting to appear I let go of my jumper so it hangs down low over my body again.

I look closer into the mirror to see my big red puffy eyes I splash water on my face, redo my makeup and wait till I had calmed down, then I walk out with another fake smile heading to my class early so I can get one of the back row seats. *In class* As I sit in the back the bell goes and people start walking in. after about ten minutes I look up to see an angry Ethan sit down next to me.
Ethans pov: I walk into class about ten minutes late I scan the room to see all the seats were taken well except one but theres no way in hell I'm sitting by that loser! As I was about to leave the classroom the teacher notices me and tells me to find a seat I groan and go sit down. As I sit down the freak looks at me, for a second I thought she was cute wait what did I just think ew. I give her a glare and glue my eyes to my phone zoning out to whatever the teacher is saying. About fifthteen minutes later the teacher starts handing out our english essays about what friendship is to us. Before he hands them out he states that one was really good and that he was going to read it out loud. Teacher: " Friendship, well I think friendship is a bond that is unbreakable a bond that is so powerful it could conquer the world. Friendship is a relationship between two people. Some friendships may come and go but you learn from each one, I would know I used to have a best friend but I guess popularity gets to peoples heads sometimes. But those good friendships that will never break cherrish them with everything you got because you never know when they might end." ( I know this is cringe and not good but I'm trying) I looked at the teacher shocked whoever wrote that is really good! Teacher: good work miss Chamberlain! I look to my left to see emma awkwardly hide in her hoodie from embarrasment as the teacher passes her, her story she quickly plugs her airpods in. Did I just compliment her no I'm over thinking this god I need a drink. ( I know he doesn't drink and all that shit btw)
