Jax
I wake confused, with visions of purple shadows, towering trees, a land full of holes and a great sense of urgency hanging over everything. I was running, but not moving and Lexi- a girl I hardly talk to- was dying. Cheyenne- my girlfriend- was there too, racing away and laughing at us. I still loved her though.
So, I wake with a sense of urgency and Cheyenne's sweet smell floating around me.I sigh. It was just a dream. At least I get to see Cheyenne today-and tonight I'm taking her to the movies.
"Lexi! Get a move on!"
My eyes snap open in the semi darkness. Wait, what? Who's that lady yelling at me? What in the world? Why are the blankets covering me, white with purple flowers?
I leap up. My eyes flirt across the room. I locate the light switch and dive towards it.
When the light comes on I cautiously look down at myself.
Hardly breathing I look over into my mirror- her mirror.
The face that looks back at me isn't mine. It's Lexi's.
