Felix and Changbin bid the rest of their friends goodbye as they began their walk home from school. The two boys had lived near each other for as long as they could remember and it was the same way with attending the same school.

"So, your parents are coming back from their trip today?" Changbin asked as he looked to Felix who walked to his left.

Felix glanced at the older for a second and nodded with a small smile. He was going to miss when he had the house to himself and could invite his friends over whenever he wanted to.

Changbin nodded in response and looked up to the sky. It was a clear day, seemingly perfect. It was like it came straight out of a happy ending scene you see in those kids movies. He smiled and turned his attention back to the boy who stood next to him.

"It's really nice out today, it's been a while since we've gotten so much sun," Changbin said with a happy grin.

Felix turned to the older just in time to see the sun make his eyes sparkle. Felix's heart fluttered and he looked down to the sidewalk hoping to avoid the older seeing his cheeks that were slowly gaining heat.

Changbin noticed but decided it had to do with the sun shining down on them and their walking. It couldn't have been anything else.

Felix looked ahead and realized how close they were to his house. It was a few houses before Changbin's and they were only two minutes away from the first boy's home.

Felix took a deep breath and stopped walking. Changbin stopped when he noticed the younger and turned to him, a slightly concerned look displayed on his face.

"Are you okay?" he asked as he walked in front of the younger who had locked his gaze on the sidewalk.

It took all of Felix's will power to look up from the ground and make eye contact with the older, opening his mouth ready to say what he had been wanting to say for so long. All the confidence he had mustered up completely disappeared as soon as his gaze fell onto the older's soft eyes. Felix immediately looked back down at the ground and let out a sigh.

"It's nothing, let's go," Felix said as he walked around the older and continued walking.

Changbin, full of confusion, turned and ran in front of the younger to stop him from walking.

"Okay, I don't want to pry, but it obviously can't be nothing. What's going on?" Changbin asked as he tried to make eye contact with the younger yet failing miserably.

Felix looked off to the side, spotting a bird flying into its nest and deciding to keep his gaze on it to avoid the eyes of the older.

"It's really nothing," Felix replied while trying to push past the older.

Changbin stood his ground, not letting the freckled boy pass him.

"Tell me, you know I'm here for you. If something's wrong I want to know so I can help you feel better," Changbin said as he grabbed the younger's shoulders, giving them a soft squeeze.

"I- I just... can't talk about it right now," Felix said softly as he tried to force the tears forming in his eyes back down.

Changbin, despite Felix's attempts, noticed the tears and pulled the younger into a hug. Felix let a few slip out, all falling and hitting Changbin's shoulder.
