Okay, I'm terrible on the computer but just so you know in the picture on the side, it's the pink/red/orange one. ^
I awoke with a start and jumped to my feet. I felt my panic cool down as I looked at my alarm. Phew, six.
Yes, six, in the evening, because I was so worried that I would be too tired, that I had a power nap. I swung my legs out of bed and walked over to my wardrobe.
Oh. I hadn't thought about this.
That's right, I hadn't thought about the fact that I had nothing to wear! I desperately started to dig through them, but to no avail. Everything in my wardrobe was so ...seventies!
I finally came across something that seemed reasonable. It was a short dress that came high above the knee with a light pink skirt and a black top, cut open at the back. The only problem was that it was tiny. Not like, a bit too tight, like TINY. But then again, it wasn't surprising as it was the same dress that I wore at my mother's fortieth. And at this moment she wasn't forty anymore, but forty-eight.
I squeezed into it and looked in my mirror. It was SO TIGHT. But it looked all right; it made my stomach look flat, it was really short and it pushed my breasts up, outrageously.
Shoes? Ummm...
I dug in my pile of clothes til' I found a pair of black slip-ons with a tiny bow on top. This little 'outfit' that I had put together probably looked pretty expensive but I doubt that these items put together were no more than a fiver.
I checked the time on my flip up phone (yeah, yeah, I know, I know), which read 18:39. Half an hour already? Wow. I need to eat something.
I scurried out my door and grabbed some Cheerios, stuffing them into my mouth in handfuls, when someone walked in on me.
"What are you-Why are you-"
"I'm going out." I stated, bluntly, taking a breath before continuing to scoff the Cheerios.
"Oooh! Where?" She asked, leaning against the door frame, in a dress that pretty much put mine to shame - it had a silver sparkly top and a flowing white, puffy skirt.
"Out with Liam." I said, with a flick of my hair like a proud stallion...but female.
Charlotte clapped her hands like an excited little girl. "I knew you two would work out." She exclaimed, turning away, but hesitating and looking back at me. "Nice dress, by the way. It brings out your," she paused, looking me up and down.
"My tits?"
"Yep. Have fun!" She said with a cackle, grabbing a small bag and reaching for the front door.
"Wait, where are you going?" I asked, taking another breath from the cereal.
"Harry's taking me to a fancy restaurant." She said, in a high voice, with excitement. I mentally rolled my eyes. What a sad tosser.
"Nice." I mumbled, almost spitting a ring. "Where?"
"Dunno," she giggled. "It's a surprise. Byeeee!"
I waved a dismissal hand and finished my cereal, rushing to the bathroom, checking the clock. 19:42. Ha, loads of time.
******
After a few secret trips into Charlotte's room to borrow makeup, I checked the clock, 20:59.
I grabbed a large purse and stuffed some cash and my phone in it and added some finishing touches to my hair as there was a knock on the door.
