I awoke the next morning with my head still hurting. Those nurses probably lied about me being fine so that later on when I have a heart failure they can perform a heroic deed and save my life so that they can get promoted from a crappy college.

First class; F.S. In other words: Kill me, now.

I crawled out of bed and tugged my hair into a low messy bun that said, "Don't talk to me, I am in a 'couldn't give a crap' mood, today".

I found some unpleasant spots on my chin and a couple on my forehead that screamed for me to scratch them, but I ignored them, along with the obvious bags under my eyes.

I didn't want to see Harry. Ever. Ever again. That rant I had was uncalled for and kind of embarrassing. He probably though I was mad. Or possessed. Or both.

Not that I cared.

I wandered, aimlessly into the kitchen to find Charlotte's bags and coat gone. She had left early. Or maybe I was late?

I'm late!

I quickly got dressed into some jeans that kind of probably needed washing and a zip up hoodie, not bothering with a shirt, slipping on my shoes.

Snatching my bag from the counter, I ignored the tempting smell of Charlotte's leftover bacon sandwich and jogged out of the apartment, leaving the key in it's usual spot under the mat.

I reached class about 15 minutes later, as I burst in, all heads sharply looking towards me.

"You're late!" I heard someone shout, mockingly, along with a, "What a rebel!" And a bunch of giggles.

I apologised over and over to the teacher but she didn't accept, completely.

"Alright, I won't mark you in as late, but you still have to take the punishment." She said, half jokingly and half deadly-serious. "You don't get to pick your partner for today's task."

I would be disappointed, but I wouldn't want to pick anyone in this class anyway.

"Liam's been messing around all lesson, so Liam, you work with Skye." She ordered. "Come sit next to her, then."

I was expecting some laughs or a sigh from him, but instead he just sat down next to me and offered me a warm smile.

"Hi," he said.

I chose to be hesitant with him. I didn't want to be super friendly with him straight away because that would just make me look like a desperate fool.

"Hi," I replied, smiling back weakly.

"So... What are we doing?" He asked.

"We have to hold a fundraising event." I said, calmly.

"Let's have a party and people have to put money in a jar when they enter."

I shot him a side look and he laughed, his shoulders shaking. "I'm joking!" He protested, holding his hands up.

"Why don't we meet at the rings later or something and discuss it then?" I asked, not feeling like doing the silly 'event' at that very moment.

"What time?" He said. "Four? Five?"

"Four is good. I can do four."

"Great! It's a date." He said.

I gave him another side look, to catch him grinning at me.

Thank goodness he was only joking.
