It was 4pm, I was sitting in mime and Payton's shared room, watching riverdale and eating Doritos when I heard the front door opening. I knew it was Payton so I just waited for him to come in our room.
"Hey love" I said as he entered the room "Hi" he replied emotionless. "U ok?"
"Could you leave me alone please? Thanks" he said sitting down at the desk.
I put my laptop to the side and sat up.
"Uh,no, I'm not going to go anywhere till you tell me what's up." I replied. "Y/N LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE" he yelled and slammed his hand on the desk. I got a little scared but I knew that Payton wouldn't hurt me on purpose. I just sat on our bed and said nothing.
Payton put his head in his hands and pulled his hair. He seemed really stressed so I decided to go get him his favorite snacks. Maybe this will help.
*skip time*
It was 5.30pm and i was on my way back home. I had a big bag full of Payton's favorite snacks.
When I opened the door I heard Payton talking to someone on the phone, then I heard a little sob from him. "How should I explain to her that I lost my ring?!" He yelled. "When was the last time you had it?" A male voice asked, it sounded like chase's (Hudson) voice. "It was on my way back home..." Payton answered "...in the car" . "But when I got home I realized that I didn't have it anymore so I searched for it in EVERY SINGLE CORNER OF THE CAR"
~That's why he was upset,he lost his promise ring I gave him 2 years ago. But it was only in the car so I could find cuz Payton is literally blind (facts lmao). He even thought he lost his phone once when he was using it.~
I went back to the car and searched for it. I found it within 2 minutes. When I got back Payton wasn't on the phone anymore, for some reason I tried to be really quiet. When I walked in our room I saw Payton with puffy red eyes and tear stains on his face, it broke my heart to see him like that. "Pay?" I said softly "y/n I'm so sorry I didn't want to scare you. I'm so so sorry y/n" he said as he walked up to me. I put the bag down and give him a big hug "it's okay pay" "I love you" Payton said softly and kissed my forehead. "I love you too" . "Y/n I have to tell you something" he said with tears filling his eyes. "Um, guess what happened today?" I said and wiped his tears away. "What?" "I heard what you told chase so I went back to the car and found your ring" I pulled out the ring and put it on Payton's finger.
I saw a big smile appearing on Payton's face. "Thank you y/n I love you endlessly" he said lifting me up. "I love you tooooo" I said smiling. He put me down and looked me deep in the eyes then I kissed him. I want this forever.
After what felt like forever I pulled away "I got your favorite snacks" I said and laughed softly. "Really? I thought you were mad at me so you went away." He said "what? No. Why would I be mad at you?"
I asked confused. "I was an as-" "no you weren't you were upset and it's okay" I said cutting him off.
We spent the rest of the day watching movies and eating snacks.
