Chapter 13

when they came out the door I turn my head as quickly as I could wanting to know how it went, but the sight in front of me was so beautiful, my Minsung heart melted

I smiled as I realized they were holding hands and smiling as Jisung was blushing. "congrats you two" I said with the biggest smile I could muster.

"I didn't know you were here Y/n" Lee Know exclaimed with a smile as well "yes I am Jisung's emotional support, but it doesn't look like he needed me" I say with a giggle as I try to ignore the hands sneaked around me from behind as I suspected Chan was getting a bit jealous.

my smile softened as I say Lee Knows hand tighten around Jisung's.  

I placed my hands on Chan's that were on my waist "it looks like someone's getting jealous" I said with another giggle and Chan nodded and place his head on my shoulder angling it so he can look at me.

"well I'm happy for you two" I said smiling bigger "thanks Y/n" they both said before leaving me here sway with Chan.

"I have something to tell you" he said in a soft voice as we continue to sway in the hall way "what's up?" I asked and he smiled a bit. "I have a surprise waiting for you down stairs" he said before grabbing my hand and dragging me down stairs.

once we got down stairs I see a few balloons leading the way we are going. but what caught my eye was that all the balloons were my favorite colors.

now I was curious to see what was going on. soon we came upon the living room and w stopped before we walked in.

I was surprised at the scene before me. the lights were low, the blinds were open to see everything outside, there was cake on the counter, along with red roses scatters on the floor.

and some lights in a circle in the middle of the room.

he walked me slowly to step inside the circle of light with just enough room for the 2 of us.

I was silent, everything had so much effort and planning put into it, and I could tell just by looking at it. I was kinda shocked, me and Chan have been together for almost 4 months, and this is the first time something like this has happened

once we were in the circle he took both my hands and looked into my eyes. 

"growing up, you were my best friend, but almost 4 months ago you became something more. my everything. when I'm with you it feels like the world has stopped and I can spend the rest of my life in that moment. Y/n I want to have a family with you someday, I want us to be a family, and you'd be a wonderful mother. I promise to love and cherish you everyday even if I'm on the other side of the world, I will always love you no matter what, I will love you forever always"

all these sweet things he's saying aren't normal, I mean he's always sweet to me, but not this much at once.

but before my thoughts could wonder further he got down on one knee letting go of one of my hands to reach into his pocket to grab something, I took my free hand and put it over my mouth, my cheeks are flushed at this point and my breath hitched in my throat when I saw what he pulled out.

a small black box, one that I knew held a certain type of ring!

tears started welling up in my eyes as he and I never broke eye contact.

he opened the box to reveal a beautiful blue diamond ring. 

"Y/n L/n, will you make me that happiest man in the world and marry me?" he asked and I let out a breath "well duh, of course" I said letting out a breathy giggle and he smiled and put the ring on my finger before standing and kissing me, wrapping an arm around my waist

as I was admiring the beautiful ring when the lights came on and I heard cheering before I looked up to see stray kids throwing confetti at us while congratulating us.

the rest of the night I could wipe the smile off my face.

this is the best thing I could ever ask for, the man of my dreams proposed and I said yes. he said he wanted a family with me, that whole night I replied everything he said over and over. and every time I did, a light blush placed itself on my cheeks.

when I finally got home it was almost 12 am (00:00 am) I tried to sneak in, trying not to wake Layla if she was asleep.

just then, as soon as I shut the door, the lights were on and Layla was sitting on the arm of our couch staring at me "and where have you been?" she asked with a stern face "u-uh, with Chan" I said with a smile and blush 

"you normally don't stay out this late... what happened?" she asked and I brought my right hand up to starch the back of my neck nervously wondering how I'm going to tell her

I walked up to Layla, I brought up my left hand and showed in to Layla, her mouth dropped as she looked from me to the ring, then to me, then to the ring. 

"Layla, Chan proposed" I said, letting my fangirl get the best of me. if it was even possible Layla's mouth dropped even more

"and I'm assuming you said yes?" she asked and I nodded..

she grabbed my arms and we jumped up and down like we were teenage girls again.

it was a good nght, I stayed up a bit longer after that to break down how it happened to Layla. while we had ice cream.

after that I was pretty tired so I decided to turn in for the night after wishing Layla a good night.
