No-one knew:
About,the sorrow behind her facade.
The story behind her eyes.
The pain behind her smile.
The sadness behind her laughter.
The weakness behind her kindness.
The fear behind her actions
No-one knew the secrets behind her life.
No-one thought:
That,her house was not a home.
That,she had scars beneath her beauty.
That,she had an empty void in her life.
That,her heart had been shattered like glass.
That,she needed pills to sleep at night.
That,she had to face a monster everyday.
That,she held fear behind her composure.
That,she had no-one to depend on.
That,everything she once had,was now gone.
No-one thought that her life could hold so many secrets.
No-one could:
Place the missing pieces of her puzzle back.
Tell her that everything would be okay.
Piece her heart together again.
Fill the empty void in her life.
Erase her worst memories away.
No-one could know the secrets she holds.
...because of the secrets she kept safely hidden.
