Being dragged away by one of the guards and leaving Mark there to fend for himself...Made me not want to become king anymore. I attempted to pull away lightly but the guard kept his grip on my wrist. By now I had lost sight of Mark and Ethan. I just went along with it and knew that there was no turning back now.

Will I never see Mark or Ethan again? Will I ever hear from them? Will I know where to see them If I get a chance to see them?

..............

We arrived at the huge castle. I was escorted inside to be face to face with the king himself. I stared for a second but quickly bowed down. "Ohh, no no no, no need to kneel before me. I should be bowing down to you your highness." He motioned me up and bowed his head slightly at me. "O-Oh...I'm sorry sir!" I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. His face straightened and looked at me seriously. "Tell me, how old are you Sean'?" He asked darkly. "U-Um...Nine years old sir..." I shrunk a little. "A-And...I would prefer to be called Ja-" He cut me off. "Nine years old! The more training the more time I get to- You get to create rules for the citizens." The king paused in the middle.

I didn't feel right when he said that, but his mood quickly changed as he grabbed my hand. "Very powerful young man." He whispered to himself.

He held his hand out to me. "Are you ready to become king?" He looked me in the eyes. I quickly took his hand and I felt everything around me swerve and change dramatically.

~~~11 years later~~~
It felt as if the years past by so quickly. Everything went well...But the only thing wrong is that...My people were suffering and changed so much now because of King Lington-Wait, why the hell do I keep calling him that after all of these years??? It's Winston! Winston Lington...
Not King
I'm King
Not him...
Walking in with a smug look on his face, Winston walked in. "Everything is looking swell your highness. No demons have past our border today!" He smirked and looked out the windows. "Ah, I wish I could've done this sooner when I was fully king." He admired his torturous work from the window.
"Sir, I don't think this is very necessary if I may have my own opinion on your work." I stood up straight and looked at him. "No. This is perfect! I can take your spot back anytime if you'd like to be with them?" He replied with anger rising in his tone.
I shook my head no and backed away. "Well...May I go out tonight?" I asked softly. He never responded, so I took that as he didn't care. I grabbed my bag and my set my crown beside my bed carefully as I walked off.
