I had not wanted to get out of bed this morning, but school wasn't going to wait for me. Good thing Amy was going to be here because knowing I will see her is the only motivation I have today. It has been two whole days since my parents spoke to us and she has had these past two days to put my parents' plan into effect. I told her that she needed to tell me how it went and I can't find her.

                              Ugh! She better be here.

I was about to personally call her when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around, a grumpy expression on my face.

     "What?" I growled.

"Whoa, Karms," that beautiful voice I loved so much said.

I blinked a couple of times and realized it was Amy.

I engulfed her in a big, bear hug, as I said, "Gosh Amy, you were starting to make me all impatient... So what happened? Did it work? Did your mom s..."

The feeling of her lips on mine stopped me mid sentence. Of course, I was cool with it because I loved the taste of her lips on mine.

When she pulled back, I was able to speak.

      "What was that for?"

She chuckled, "Well, I had to get you to stop asking so many questions all at once."

      I blushed.

"Sorry, but I'm dying to know if your mom bought the lie."

Her hands grabbed hold of mine and as she gently stroked the back of them with her thumbs, she said, "I told her what your parents told me. I told her that they were hoping she would let me spend the weekend with you guys, so that we," she points at herself, then at me, "could work out the problems we have been having lately."

I blankly stared at her, hoping she would notice that I was waiting for her to tell me what I actually wanted to hear.

Pulling me in for a hug, she whispered into my ear, "My mom was totally up for it because she doesn't want me to lose my best friend, like the only friend I have."

Without realizing it, I let out a brief sigh.

Amy ceased the hug she had me in and cupped my face in her hands.

     "Why the sigh Karms?"

     Her face radiated worry.

I smiled, "It's not a bad sigh. It sort of just came out," I laughed, "I'm just really glad it worked. I was so worried that your mom would suspect something or just not let you... I so need to spend time with you without being bothered or interrupted or without having to communicate with you solely through texts, calls, or FaceTime."

She smiled and picked me up, spinning us around.

"Then, my beautiful girlfriend, I hope you won't get tired of seeing my face this whole weekend because you are going to be stuck with me," she smirked.

    "Never," I smirked back.

Putting me back on my feet, we looked into each others' eyes and smiled like fools. Then our lips met.

I so couldn't wait for Friday.

Amy's POV:

After everything that had happened between us, after finally being together for a month, it was only fair that we would be able to spend a whole weekend together and enjoy each others presence. This weekend was surely going to be a wonderful one. I would get to wake up to see Karma's beautiful face, smile, and hold her in my arms without worrying about my mother or her parents walking in on us. I so didn't want that to happen again with her parents.

Friday needs to come like now!
