Prologue: My New Father?

Error's P.O.V.

I sighed as I stared at the blue strings of magic I had strung up so that I wasn't in a void of complete white. Another crack appeared on my soul which signaled that another au had been created. I sighed and stood up, opening a portal to said 'new' au and walking through it. I then realized that instead of being in the Ruins I was in what looked like Snowdin. "HuH? WeLl ThAt'S wEiRd. Oh WeLl." I said to myself. I started walking around, lost in my thoughts and not realizing where I was going until I walked right into someone, which made me land on the ground. "Ow." I mumbled. "Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't see you there. Here let me help you up." The being said as they held their hand out for me to take. I slowly and hesitantly placed my hand on their's. They gently pulled me up. I was surprised that I didn't glitch out at the contact. "H-HoW? I aLwAyS gLiTcH oUt WhEn SoMeOnE tOuChEs Me. WhY dIdN't It HaPpEn WhEn YoU dId?" I asked them. "Probably because I have no intention to harm you. You look cold. You can rest at my house. I can carry you if you wish." They said. I looked down shyly and gave a small nod. I flinched slightly when they picked me up. I could immediately tell that they were male. "T-ThAnK yOu... Um I jUsT rEaLiZeD tHaT wE nEvEr InTrOdUcEd OuRsElVeS tO eAcH oThEr. M-My NaMe Is ErRoR. WhAt'S yOuRs?" I asked him quietly. "My name is Amaterasu Ryuubi. But you can call me Rasu if that's easier to remember. Ah! Here we are. Home sweet home." He said with a gentle tone that made me relax with a hidden smile. This made me look up at the house. It was the same house that the skeleton brothers live in. "Um, DoEsN't ThIs HoUsE bElOnG tO SaNs AnD PaPyRuS?" I asked him, hesitant in fear that he'll harm me. He looked down at me with a smile. "I'll explain inside. After I introduce you to my family and we have lunch. Alright?" He asked me with the same gentle tone. I nodded shyly. He gave me another warm smile that made a small smile appear on my face. That was when it hit me. This is not a new au, this is one that was hidden to develop fully until it stopped growing completely, and by the looks of it, it has been hidden for eons.

By the time he had finished explaining, it was past midnight. A small yawn escaped me as I gently rubbed my eye sockets. "Tired, little one?" He asked me softly. I nodded with the same shy feeling that he makes me feel when he treats me like his own. He picked me up and headed upstairs to his-Sans-room. He laid down on the large king sized bed and pulled me to his chest, wrapping his arms around me. His magic surrounded me like a blanket, giving me the feeling of safety, love, compassion and happiness, feelings that, I believed, had long since abandoned me for eternity. "Love you, Daddy." Is the last thing I remember saying before falling asleep. But his response was able to cut through the void of sleep.

"I love you too, my precious son."
