The date is June twenty fifth, two thousand and twelve. The time is three twenty one ante meridian. My name is Nikolai Koltsov. I am only nineteen years of age. I was named after my father's grandfather, the original Nikolai Koltsov, a famous and revered biologist. They named me that in hope that I will follow him in biology, or any kind of medical field. Though... sadly that is not to be. I ran away from home over two years ago.
Two years ago is when the Great Mother Russia, beautiful in it's glory, fell to the Britianian Empire. The E.U. was demolished, and all that's left that opposes Britania is the Chinese Federation. It's a hopeless battle I think... For the Chinese Federation to fight off Britania... In fact, I think it's hopeless for me to fight against Britania. But I will not allow our great Mother Russia to just be pushed over and renamed Area 13.
There have been reports of an uprising in Japan by the name of a man named Zero. This has fueled many people to stir up against the Great Britanians. But not my fellow Russians. We've grown complacent here in two years. We lived a hard life, and our conditions are "better" than what we had when we were independent. We have jobs... working for Britanians. We have a better school system... Provided by the Britanians. We even have better heatlh care.. Provided by the Britanians.
I hate it. With all my heart. I remember when we used to just brush off our hardships like it was nothing, that we could get through anything. I remember the last time someone tried to invade us. Stalingrad... We stomped the Germans to a pulp and pushed them out of Great Mother Russia and wiped out their military. Now we were invaded and we just sat by. They still do.
But not me. I have created my own army against the Britanians. It may be a hopeless fight, just like the others, but I do it not for myself, not for another, but for Mother Russia. We are not Area 13. We are the Russian Federation. We are the Greatest Nation to have ever lived. We shall not fall. For as long as I am a alive. I will make all Britanians fear us. For Mother Russia does not take kind to any strangers. Mother Russia will expunge such evil from her lands and strike back at them harder and stronger than before! We will crush them!

I must go... Mikhail wants me. Tonight we launch a raid on the Sutherland plant in Volgograd... formerly known as Stalingrad. Tonight we... The Volki will strike. Stalingrad will be the rebirth of the Russian Federation. Tonight, blood will be spilled.
