Love

What is love? There are different kinds of it. There's eros or sexual love, storge, familiar love or love between family, agape which is universal love or love for strangers, and philia which is platonic love.

Feelings

What are feelings? How do you know what you're feeling? What if you're feeling an emotion you can't describe? Then what do you do? There are so many emotions though sometimes I don't know what emotion I am feeling. How can I feel sad and happy at the same time? How can I feel both love and hatred?

How can I feel nothing?

Sometimes, I wonder: How do I feel so empty yet, there are so many amazing things happening to me? How can I not laugh at some of the jokes that are supposed to be funny? I want to laugh. I want to feel amazed.

I want to feel. Something, anything to take me out of this loop of nothingness.

My words are without heart or meaning because I can't put any emotion behind it. My voice sounds monotone but, I try so hard to speak with emphasis.

"Tobias, wait up!" I heard a voice, not just any voice though, David's voice. He said those words so energetically as if it was nothing. I envy that. I stop in my tracks and turn to face him as he catches up to me. "I thought you were going to leave me behind! I've been calling you name for a while now!" He pants.

"Sorry, I was just thinking." I hear my voice, it sounds so lifeless as if I'm just a machine. I frown at the thought. "Oh, it's fine! So, what were you thinking about?" He curiously asks me though I don't know if I should say the truth.  "Um, I was just planning out the day." That was a partial lie, I was thinking about that but, I don't know why my thoughts turned to emotions and love.

"Oh, ok. Well, I was thinking that we should hangout... with the others... after school." David sounded really excited until he said the last part. "Yeah, that sounds good," I nodded "Speaking of friends, where's Felix?" I looked around. "Oh, he was sick so he stayed home."

"So, where are we going to hangout after school?" I asked. "I don't know where... Maybe a café or something?" He said. "That sounds nice." I sighed as we kept walking.

After school, all of us walked down to a nice café and ordered ourselves some food. Then, we took the closest seat to the entrance when I hear Maria ask "So, why did you want to hangout so suddenly David?" I stiffen at the question.

'I can't tell them that I really just wanted to hangout with Tobias and that I just got so nervous I panicked and invited all of them! ESPECIALLY SINCE HE'S RIGHT THERE! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, PANIC!?! WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF!?! OK, DAVID. Calm down. You can do this. Just make something up, yeah? Maybe something to do with aliens or cheese.'

"Umm, I wanted to talk about cheese." I blurt out, mentally smacking myself in the face. "Huh?" Maria looks at me confused, as well as the others, well except for Tobias, Cody, and Eric. Cody just gave me the 'wtf dude' face. "Ok, so what about cheese did you want to talk about?" Eric started.

Oh boy, this is going to be a long afternoon.
