Moonflower [LC Fanfic]

I look around the cafe as it's almost time to leave. This whole time I've just wanted to talk and be with Tobias but, my dumb self just got in the way. After my attempt to try and talk about cheese, I was quickly shut down by Cody and the girls though I can't blame them.

The girls were now talking about what they were going to do this weekend. Apparently they want to go to an amusement park or something like that. Meanwhile, Cody and Eric were talking about Eric's YouTube channel.

I look towards Tobias and he's just sitting there. I scoot my chair closer to him and my hearts starts beating out of my chest.

"So... how are you?" I say trying to make small talk. "Good, you?"

"Umm.. I good." I twiddle my thumbs and glance around the cafe more.

"That's good."

We sit in a awkward silence. 'I hate small talk! Just talk to him regularly, David! He's your friend!'

"We should probably get going. It's almost dinner time." I hear Eric say. 'Gosh darn it. I really just wanted to stay with him for a bit longer.' I sigh, knowing that we should go. The group gets up so then we can leave. The girls all go together and Tobias and I go our separate way from Cody and Eric.

'It's just us. Tobias and I... alone.' I feel my face heat up at the thought. "Are you okay?" He says looking at me closely, making me blush even more. "Yeah, of course." I frantically wave my arms around. "If you say so." Tobi says that as if he isn't convinced. "Well, bye David." I realized that we reached his house and he turns to leave when I suddenly grab his arm. "Hey, tomorrow since it's the weekend, want to hangout? Just the two of us."

"Sure." I smile and wave him goodbye as I walk back to my house.

'Why? Why. Why! Why him!?' I think as I basically scream into a pillow. 'Why do I feel this way about him?' I look at a picture of David and I. 'I don't think he likes me that way but, I can't control my feelings. If I stand next to him I feel like I'm going to explode because of his cuteness. AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH'

'Why do I have to like my best friend? What if he doesn't like me back?! What if he doesn't want to be friends with me anymore?!'

"Hey, ----- it's time for dinner. Come on!" I snap out of my thoughts as I hear them call me down.
