Chapter 3

Third Person's POV

"I'M GOING TO BECOME THE MAGIC EMPEROR SOMEDAY AND MAKE EVERYBODY HAPPY! SO WILL YOU MARRY---."

"Gomen Asta, but I can't get married."

"HEH?!?! GRRNGNGNG! NOT YET! I'M NOT GIVING UP YET!"

"Water Magic: Holy Fist of Love!"

*SPLASH*

"It's time to give up, Asta." Yuno appeared behind Sister Lily.

"Dammit Yuno! Why are you getting in the way of my love life?! You're just lucky because you already have Mady!" Asta shouted, pointing to a clueless Mady in the distance, she's sitting on her favorite spot under the big tree, sipping her Green tea while humming a small tune.

Yuno stared at Mady, following her every move with his golden orbs before he let out a 'tch'. "Mady and I are not a thing." He denied, turning to Sister Lily and giving her a hand with the laundry.

"Hah! You say that but your ears are pink! Just admit it! You looooovvee---." Asta was cut off by a glaring Yuno. "Shut up." He said threateningly.

"Hey, Mady heard her name earlier! Is it tea time?" Mady appeared next to Asta who was startled at her sudden appearance. "N-no! Not at all. And you always drink tea!" Asta pointed at her accusingly.

Mady chuckled before her eyes turned to Yuno who turned away from them. "Ah. Good morning, Yuno. Are you finished practicing?" She tilted her head to the side.

Yuno replied with a 'yeah' and ignored them completely.

Asta popped an irk mark while Mady pouted, running beside Yuno. Asta and the other children knew what she's going to do and watched them intently from afar.

"Yunooo~. Liftuuu~." Mady smiled childishly, bringing the others to smile back. Yuno cleared his throat before hesitantly lifting her by her waist and carried her on his arms. (Mady is as tall as Asta.)

Yuno was hesitant because Mady has been growing some...... 'parts'. He doesn't want to make her uncomfortable or something like that.

But let me tell you a secret... Yuno secretly enjoyed carrying Mady. Why? Heh~. Ask him yourself.

Father suddenly opened the doors, knocking Asta down to his feet. "Yuno and Mady are the hopes of this church!" He shouted with tears on his eyes.

"I'm not even surprised if you work directly under the Magic Emperor himself, Yuno. You too, Mady. Your plant magic is amazing to the boot! And Yuno's wind magic is really powerful!" Nash said.

"Of course. Mady's plant magic is really amazing without question. She is, after all, a nob---." Mr. Rabbit wasn't able to complete his sentence since Father and Sister Lily covered his uh... snout? I don't know. His mouth, or whatever.

Father laughed nervously, "And besides, entering the Magic Knight's Exam is really hard. Don't you think so, Mady--- eh? Mady? Why are you pouring tea on the ground? It's a waste!" Father tried to stop Mady from continuing what she's doing but Mr. Rabbit prevented him.

"Relax, Father. The ground enjoys the flavor of tea! Oh, what were you saying again?" Mady asked, innocently tilting her head to the side, her top hat shifting its position as well.

Father sighed. "Nothing, Mady. Nothing at all." Was what he said.

"Anyways, now that we're all gathered here, let's head to the Giving of Grimoires Ceremony! Sister Lily, is everything set?" Father asked as Sister Lily nodded.

The trio, Mady, Asta and Yuno, are nervous for the ceremony, especially Asta since he can't use any kind of magic.
