Third Person's POV
On the fifth part of the exam, everyone is required to take a seed from the proctor and put mana into it so that it would grow into a tree.
Yuno successfully performed the task and sat his tree on the ground so that it wouldn't be hard to grow it. Asta failed, obviously. (Sorry, pal)
Mady looked at Yuno in amazement, "Woah! Yuno's so cool!" Yuno felt pride within him as he smirked slightly.
"Mady's turn!" Mady said, not heading to the proctor but getting the seed from her purse.
"What kind of seed is that?"
"I don't think I've seen that from one of our proctors."
The captains murmured amongst themselves, looking at Mady in slight wonder. Curious to what she's going to do next.
Something mad again, they guessed.
"Itsy, bitsy, Twiddle Dee
Went out to fetch a tree.
And came the Mad Hare
Who doesn't quite agree,
Then came the Queen of Hearts
Who painted roses red
And the itsy, bitsy, Twiddle Dee
Just went back home to bed."
(Same tone as the 'Itsy, bitsy, spider' nursery rhyme)
It doesn't make sense. They all know it. But they know better than to question Mady's spells.
Golden dusts starts to cover the seed on Mady's hands and roots started to come off of it, as it became a sapling, Mady placed it on the ground, watching as it continues to grow into a tree.
Sounds came from the seed like a tree branch breaking off.
The tree started to grow leaves. Golden ones.
"What is that?"
"I haven't seen a tree with golden leaves in my whole life!"
The participants started to shout compliments at Mady as she ignored the voices behind her and focused on her tree.
It could almost rival Captain Vangeance's World Tree!
"Oho! Well would you look at that! Are you sure she's not your daughter?" Yami said, looking at William amusedly as the latter returned a small smile. "Captain, just because she can rival my tree, doesn't mean she's my daughter." William said.
Yami looked at him with a fake confused face. "Oh, I was actually talking about you two's sanity like her wearing a giant top hat and you wearing weird mask, but yeah, that could work too." He said which received an irk mark from a Golden Dawn member. "How dare you--!"
"Shh! Shh! It's starting!" Yami said, mockingly looking at the Golden Dawn member who is about to burst in anger.
Meanwhile, Mady hummed a small tune, weight shifting from her left toe to her other toe. Mr. Rabbit observed the growing tree in front of him with a curious stare. Even he can't figure out what's supposed to happen!
In the spur of the moment, the giant tree suddenly snapped into two parts and everyone actually thought it broke but it continued to grow until it stopped. The leaves were barely visible from below and only the captains can see the giant faces of two chidren carved on the tree.
"I have a question, Mady." Mr. Rabbit said blankly, staring at the two faces on the tree. Mady took him to the top using one of the branches with giant golden leaves to prevent Mr. Rabbit from looking below and getting scared.
"Hm?" Mady answered, admiring her masterpiece.
"Who are they?" Mr. Rabbit asked, pointing at the tree that has the two faces on them.
