Third Person's POV
~In Golden Dawn's Headquarters~
"So," Klaus adjusted his glasses, arrogantly sending Yuno a disgusted look. "You are our new member."
Yuno could only do one thing. Nod.
Klaus, once again, held up his left hand to push his glasses further up to the bridge of his nose. "I see nothing but a kid from the boonies. One who came from a poor family. That is, if you even have a family, as I heard you were an orphan from," Klaus paused, as if trying to taunt the golden-eyed lad. "Hage."
Yuno stayed silent, fully knowing that Klaus is not finished yet. Poor Yuno... T_T
Klaus scoffed, "What has gotten into Captain Vangeance's mind? Accepting someone, something, like you."
Ouch. Author is being a big meanie. And also Klaus.
Yuno almost flinched. If it weren't for an image of Mady smiling brightly at him, he would've broken down in front of the bespectacled Golden Dawn member.
But he didn't. Because Yuno knows that's what Klaus wanted. For him to show his vulnerabilities.
"I'll see to it that you accept me soon." Yuno managed to voice out.
Klaus snorted, "As if. You are growing quite a big head right there, peasant." (A/N: I'm seriously turning into a bully. 😢)
"I shall show you around the headquarters then back to your chambers as requested by Captain Vangeance so you wouldn't get lost around the large castle." Klaus turned his back on Yuno, his coat lifting up in the process and almost hitting Yuno in the face if he didn't move away.
'What is wrong with these stuck-up nobles...' Yuno sighed in his mind, following Klaus' figure.
'I hope you are doing fine, Mady, Asta.'
~In Black Bull's Headquarters~
"Dodge! Dodge! Asta, dodge!" Mady cheered at the side.
"Ugh. Magna's doing that ceremony again..." Vanessa whined, a bottle of whiskey in her hand, half dressed, as usual.
While Mady is screaming for Asta to dodge Magna's attacks, Mr. Rabbit is doing the exact opposite.
"Get hit! Hit him! Ugh! Dang, he dodged it!" Mr. Rabbit shouted when Asta rolled out of the way as a flying ball of fire came to his direction.
"Whose side are you on, stupid rat?!" Asta screamed.
"Who you calling rat, runt?!" Mr. Rabbit fired back.
"Mr. Rabbit, calm down and drink some of Mady's tea." Mady said, offering Mr. Rabbit a cup, which he took and sat comfortably beside her.
"Huh?! You dodged my attack?! You are going to pay for that!" Magna yelled angrily.
Asta gulped. 'Uh oh...'
Magna's Grimoire opened to an open page. "Eat my fire, dumbass!" He said and performed his so called 'ancient' spell.
It was a very big ball of fire and it was heading to Asta's direction in a really great speed.
Asta's consciousness started to drift away because of his nervousness, not moving an inch even if the big ball of fire is gaining on him.
Just then, driven by his animalistic instincts and will to get the Black Bulls' robe, he raised his hands as a final move, not only cancelling out Magna's magic but also bouncing it back on him so he would get hit by his own magic.
"!"
It all happened too fast for everyone to see.
Magna's area went up in flames and Asta standing safely on the ground, pretty much shocked by his own moves.
Mr. Rabbit's eyes widened, actually thinking that Magna is dead while Mady just sipped her tea calmly.
"You little..." Magna growled.
Everyone sighed in relief when he stood his ground, safe and sound with only a few scratches, his glasses already gone.
Asta gulped again. "Uh... M-magna, sir... I'm so sorry--"
"You've got some guts there, kid! Haha!" Magna laughed, slapping Asta's back.
His happy aura suddenly change to scary, "Good thing I cancelled my magic on time, you idiot! I almost killed myself!"
Magna grinned again, "Nevertheless, you still managed to gain my respects. Welcome to Black Bulls, bro!"
Magna handed Asta a black robe with the Black Bulls' emblem on right chest.
"While we're at it..." Vanessa muttered, using her magic to turn Asta's headband around and forming a Black Bull's emblem on it too.
"Ooh! Asta looks cool!" Mady chirped.
Magna looked at Mady, "It's time for you to do it too, little lady!" He placed his hands on his side.
Mady's eyebrows twitched. "Little lady?"
The air around them changed.
"Woh-oh..." Mr. Rabbit said blankly, pulling Asta and the others back.
Again, it happened too fast.
The ground opened up and a big, green thing spawned up and pushed Magna to a tree.
To the tree after that and the tree after, and another tree after that to another tree after that.
"Mady has beaten you. Can Mady have her robe now?" Mady asked sweetly.
"Uh... yeah! Vanessa will give you one!" Magna yelled since he's far away from their spot.
"Thank you, Magna-senpai!" Mady waved and went to get her robe from Vanessa.
"Fight me! Fight me! You seem strong!" Luck ran to Mady, holding his fists up.
"No, she won't." Mr. Rabbit pushed Luck away.
"Aw... you're too cute!" Vanessa squealed, placing the robe over Mady's blue dress.
"Heh. She beat you in one slam of her magic." Luck sad, appearing beside a beat up Magna who is laying on the fallen tree.
"Shut up..."
