"Ummm, baby? Are you still there?"

I opened my eyes, startled, "W-what?!" I dropped from my seat. I just noticed that I fell asleep. "Oh, yes, still here. I'm sorry I fell asleep."

He focused his web cam on his pitiful face, "Hey, no... I'm sorry! I just got carried away with our game. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sor-"

"Stop that." I cut him off and gave him a straight face. "I have already accepted from the start that you love those games more than me."

"Yeah, I have to admit that." he replied then smirked.

"You'll really taste a punch from me by the time I reach you!" I said as I raised an arm.

Laughter roared from his throat, "I really am such a lucky guy."

"Of course you are! You have 'such' a pretty girlfriend." I replied with nose up high.

He pursed his lips, "I don't mean anything like that baby."

"Heeeey! Okay! So what if you're the one who's perfect here." I wrapped my arms around me and pouted.

He laughed harder. Then he told me when his sanity came back, and put up a serious face "What I mean with being lucky is that I have the girl that I have always wanted in my possession. Plus! I know she loves me so much too that we both know we are never going to leave each other. I am hers and she's mine forever." He smiled.

I hate it when he says things like those. No, the part that I hate is that I don't know how to respond. "Stop that, stop those cheesy lines and let's sleep already!"

"Ma'am, yes, Ma'am!" He kissed his web cam then-

Then I heard my alarm clock ringing as I opened my eyes, this time, for real. I turned off my alarm clock, which seems to burst because of its noise before my sister and cousins wakes up from the other rooms. Everyone was still asleep. I always set my alarm one hour earlier than them because I hate rushing.

Wait, did I just dreamt about him again!? This happens almost everyday! Maybe it happens for six times a week. How come my mind would not follow my order? I honestly don't want to remember anything about those days anymore. But how can I forget even a single thing about it if my brain is being so stubborn! If I could just slice up my skull and remove every bit of those memories from my brain!

As I went down the stairs, I noticed that our grandmother left again, she always leaves out of town for vacation. Our grandmother is still a maiden so we kids are the grandchildren of her brother. In fact, this house is hers herself. Since our parents separated, they sold our old house and left us here. Our family story is not actually that dramatic. Our parents have become good friends from the time they got divorced. In fact, they even share problems with their work and single lives. As for my sister and me, we still hang out with them, sometimes; we hang out with both of them at the same time. They also pay for our expenses like before. Nothing really changed after their separation except the fact that they were married before.

My parents' story always reminds me that finding true love is really hard. It is a matter of trial and errors. You would one day think that he is already the one, your soul mate, your destined partner, and your other half. But if he's actually not that person, the day when you two would be able to realize that fact will come.

I grabbed some bread from the oven and launched it on the toaster. As I was waiting for breakfast, I opened my iPad that Mom gave me last week. I logged in to Facebook which is the top ranked social networking site nowadays. I unconsciously typed his name on the search box. Wait! Here I go again, why am I going to check his profile? I closed the pad, dumped it in my bag, head straight to the shower, ate breakfast, locked the doors and took off.
