Chapter 1

It was a fun run, he slipped many times made us both fell on the ground but yet we laugh and stood up then run again, this was the feeling when I am with my girl, yes... The girl that taken away from me by my brother, it happens too fast like how fast Martin and I running to nowhere like crazy.

It was a sweet ride at first, then we both experience the bumpy ride of fate but we just laugh it all out and just being in love and happy together, we are such an explorer, She is too precious for me, a true gem that I treasure the most, a lovely girl who made me insane and sane at the same time. Nothing can set us apart in those time, we laugh and make memories out of nothing, we eat and walk and made loves. Everything seems surreal when I'm with her, my heart thumps whenever she's with me or even by just hearing her voice, oh her voice is so lovely and angelic that even the angels will envy her. She's smart like Einstein, talented as the champions, and she's too perfect to be a true and ideal girl that every man wants to have. Then my life turned upside down when I saw her kissing my brother, and everything happens right before my eyes, my heart breaks into pieces, my vision become blurry when tears start to build up, I ran and ran and ran ignoring them calling my name, I wish I run into accident and die, I have nothing now, my everything was taken from me. Few days I tried to beg her but she broke up with me and says she loves my brother more than me, and that's the words that broke me down into pieces, the colorful surroundings turn gray, the sounds of calming nature turns into silence everything seems so lifeless to me. Too cold to be true. Too harsh to ignore. Too much to endure.

"We are here" I was brought back to reality when Martin speaks.

"Oh, this is a lovely place," I said with amusement

"Well, I accidentally found it when I'm exploring the campus or I would rather say I was little lost," He said and chuckles then we sat down and look at the calm lake and breeze starts to soothe into our skins

"Martin, I'm sorry if I have to turn you down, it's just I'm still not ready to enter into another relationship, I just.. still can't." I sigh and throw some small rocks to the lake

"It's okay, thank you also for being honest and for not taking advantage of my feelings even though I'm willing to do it for you, to be a past time," he said with sincerity

"Stupid. I'm not like that, even though I'm truly hurt but I can't hurt anyone especially a kind-hearted person like you, I don't want to hurt anyone just because I'm in vain. I want to see everyone happy even if I'm not, seeing you guys happy makes me happy too." I sigh to stop myself from crying again

"It's okay, cry it all out. I am here I'll listen, I'm all ears," he said and pull me closer to him and made me lean to him and rest my head into his broad shoulder.

"Martin, why still do I love her after all of this? Why does it hurt so much in here *points my heart* I gave everything to her.. Everything, I did my very best to show how much I love and care for her,... W...where have I gone wrong? Even she caused too much pain I still love her, my heart beats for her. I....I'm so l..lost.. I want her back between in my arms again, b...but she won't Martin! S..she won't! H...How can I win if I'm just a girl? R..right?" I rant and rant between my sobs and martin listens and rubs my back.

"Girl or not, if she loves you she will come back to you. You don't have to be hurt like this, it's not your loss if she cheated, it's hers for letting go a gem like you. So fix yourself and be proud of who you are, she's too lucky for having you and to be loved by you. Show her what she lost, don't give up that easily! Stand up and claim what's truly yours!" He said with full of support in his voice

"But she won't... She loves him so much... I can see it, I never saw her looking at me like how he looks at my brother... M...Marthin s...she's my everything... C...can I just die and live again when I felt better?" I cried and laugh like a crazy woman,

"Charmagne, love is an unpredictable thing that God has been created, it is a powerful thing on earth that controls every single man in this world, Even me, I was a victim of this so-called magic of love and fell for a girl who loves a girl, funny isn't it? Being me and being you. Love comes with pain and it will be always like that, you won't know if you're in love if you haven't felt the unknown sting of pain. The one thing I realized while watching you from afar being tortured by anger and hatred is that, Loving someone means sacrificing yourself to be a one soul, but if the both of you aren't compatible one of you will survive and one of you will be shattered and unfortunately you were the latter, but hey! Look at you even your soul and heart are broken you still have your body keeping you intact as one, you're breathing and alive so it only means this is not your ending, it's just the beginning of another chapter of your life." He said and made me speechless. He is right. This is not the end, this is just the start.

"You're right.. But is there any chance I can get her back?" I ask with so much hope he would say yes.

"Well, I can't say yes or no, because I don't make your destiny sweetheart, I might be here with you and sent by God to guide you throughout your journey, I might not win your heart but I'm much satisfied to be part of your life. Sometimes love means letting go and contentment, but true love means fighting with all your might to win the heart of the one you truly love, So whatever your decision is I'll be by your side and support you" He said with full of sincerity

"Thank you so much, Martin!" I said and hug him tight as I let myself cry like a baby.

"Hush now, you're missing the sunset. Isn't it beautiful? You know what, every time I looked up the sky and let myself blinded by the rays of the sun it reminds me of you.. *chuckles*... You see.. whenever you are one in the crowd you brighten and warm them up by your smiles, you brought the true colors of everyone for unknown reasons, your words are their source of strength, your smiles are their fuel to create good vibes and your laugh made them forget the bad vibes. You're like a sun that brightens everyone yet you keep yourself invisible and hide in the blindspot where anyone can feel your presence but they can't recognize that it is you. In these past few days, when you become cold and aloof, your class seems eaten by darkness, because their sun hides from the grumpy clouds. So please sweetheart, come back to us. We need your warm smiles." He said between his tears. His strong facial features soften and cry like a cute puppy right before me.

"I...I can't find the right words to respond to your heartful speech" I honestly started looking at him.

"Just smile" he response

"I'll try," I said and form a weak smile.

"Thank you," he said
