Chapter 8- The Great Escape?

(Third POV)

Luna woke up, a tingle down her spine. Something cold was around her neck. As soon as she tried to take it off, it shook her like she fell off a bridge into acid. Luna cried out in pain, and started to pat her clothes like she was on fire. It stopped after a couple of minutes. She making her calm down. Quickly, Luna adjusted to her surroundings. Glass walls, a steel door and outside was two other glass rooms. The exact same. In front of her was just dark. Footsteps came closer to her from what heard like every direction.
"Come on, join us. Before they come. They will take you away from the family you once had. But you left us. The family you had," the boy's voice was familiar to Luna. Every word, it was like he was crying.
"I-I would. But, I have a family. A-and you aren't part of it. You betrayed me and Hannah, the family that was there BEFORE everyone else. YOU BETRAYED US!" Luna yelled she was angry, it echoed across the glass.
"I-I'm s-sorry. I-I had to do-"
"WHAT DID YOU HAVE TO DO! WHO DID THIS! I WANT ANSWERS, LUKE!" Luna was crying, her anger wanted to come out. She just wanted to let go.
"Luna... I have to and I had to... tell Seth, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, or you and I would be here forever."
Luna looked of what was infront of her. Her eyes filled with tears, then she screamed.

(Lydia's POV)

We ran through the jungle for quite a while. We ran past a cave, it had an unusual aura like something should be in there.
"Seth! Seth! I think I found something!"
I yelled, Seth running over.
He looked at the cave.
"You want to go in first or-"
I walked in, Seth trailed behind me trying to catch up with me.
"Hey, wait up!" He whispered and yelled.
I stopped and waited for him to catch up. We travelled through the cave for a few minutes, then Seth found a door. It was metal with a black tinted window. I could just see inside. Luna was sitting down, looking forward. Looking like she's talking. No, crying.

(Third POV)

Luke moved the body. Luna was still crying.
"Why! Luke, why her!! You could have had me! But not her!" Luna yelled.
"I-I had too. You're the betrayer, you're the person that brings us to destroy Olympus. You kill the keys. The mains. Everyone has three lifes. She has two left. You have two left. All we have to do is wait until Lydia comes to your rescue. And hopefully Seth."
"Please... I don't want anyone getting hurt..." Luna said, quietly, only loud enough for Luke to hear.
"I won't hurt anyone. Only if you join me. And become the betrayer."
"No! Never! I'm not leaving my family!"
"Fine, then I'll kill you're loved ones."
He threw a boy, no younger than fourteen, no older by sixteen. He was familiar to Luna.
"A-Aiden!"
"Luna?" He smiled weakly.
He had a nasty gash on his cheek and many wounds on his arms and legs. Aiden looked weak, he fell on the floor.
"Luke, please let him go! Please!"
He got his sword out, Backbiter.
"Luke! Ple-"
Luna was interrupted by a loud bang was heard across the room. Luke grabbed Aiden by the hair and put his sword at the tip if his neck. Then ran away into a room. Guards surrounded that room and Luna yelled, but her voice didn't work.

(Seth's POV)

We walked slowly into the room, footsteps came from infront of us. I walked to a cage, the only one with light.
"Luna! Are you okay?"
"It's a trap! It's a trap!" Luna yelled, her eyes looked puffy from crying.
Before we knew it, two monsters took me and Lydia by the hands and quickly binded us. A cold peice of metal wrapped around our necks. Footsteps traced behind us, Luke coming into view with Aiden, a sword in his hand. Luna looked terrified. Luke looked at Lydia and I.
"Well, this gets better!" Luke smiled. "Put them in the cage and get out the girl!"
Luna looked at me and shook her head. Her eyes were still puffy. Luke came back, Holly in is hands. Barely alive.
"Holly!" I yelled. My eyes in tears.
"Well, we have a decision. Luna will kill Aiden and Holly. She becomes the betrayer and everyone's lifes are back to normal until Gaia comes back. Or everyone goes through their worst fear and will be close to death."
Luna looked panicked.
"I-I will be the betrayer..." Luna muttered, she kept repeating the same phrase.
Luke walked up to Luna's cage and opened it. She got up slowly. As soon as she got to the door, Luna judo flipped Luke into the cage and closed the door behind her, making it lock. Quickly, she opened our cells. Once I got out, Seth and I ran to Holly. Luna went to Aiden.
"Holly, what happened?" I asked.
"T-they found me when I was out to get supplies. And Aiden. They made Aiden in control of some bug type of thing... and they spied on you guys. I tried to escape many times but... I got caught and yeah..."
I hugged Holly, she hugged back.
"I'm so happy you're back. We all thought you were gone," I whispered into Holly's ear.
Luna helped Aiden up and we helped Holly up. Once we got back to the ship, Aiden fainted from being weak and Holly fell asleep. They stayed in the infirmary for a few days. Then we planned to go to Thailand.

A/N

Sorry, I had a switch up. I couldn't pick between the two. So, I picked Thailand in the end. But next book will probably be Australia. New characters soon, and a book about this book about all their origins, that stuff. I also have a new book called The Dagger. That will be a slow book because of The Hunted anyway, I got school.
