"Hey dad" I say while going downstairs to be met with my dad, Ann, and colby.
"Hey sweety." He says back.
I sit down at the breakfast table and start to eat.
"So how was yalls business trip?" Colby asks.
"Oh it was great. We had a lot of fun" Ann says.
"How was yalls time at the house?" Dad asks.
"Oh it was fun. The group was over the other night for a pool party." I say.
"Well congrats on the win last night cole. And good job last night Abby you did good" my dad says.

"Hey Abby"
I hear someone say at the door.
I turn around to see Ann at my door.
"Oh hey Ann what's up?" I ask finishing my makeup since I was about to go out to the diner to perform.
"Oh I just wanted to talk to you. I feel like we haven't had a conversation since I moved in." She says sitting on my bed.
I turn around on my vanity chair.
"So. How are you and cole getting along? I know y'all used to be friends in junior high. But I haven't seen y'all hang out since." she says.
"Oh we just went our separate ways. I joined the cheer squad he joined the football team. We made new friends and everything" I say.
"Oh well I just want you to know that I can always be there for you if you need it. I know it was hard when your mom and sister left and you haven't really had a feminine influence. Though you are very beautiful and you've learned a lot over the years. And you and your dad look so close. Sometimes I wish me and cole where like that." She says while she plays with my hair.
"Well I love the offer. I've always looked after my dad since he's the only one left. I'm happy that y'all are together though he seems very happy now. And cole is a very nice boy. It just takes him some time to get used to." I say.
I check my phone and see the time. I'm late for my performance.
"Oh wow I should really get going. I have to perform at the diner." I say getting my dress in my bag.
"Oh ok well nice talk" Ann says.
"Oh yeah you too Umm we can finish this tomorrow? " I ask her.
"Oh yeah for sure" she says.
I grab my stuff and head down to my car.
"Hey Abby can I get a ride?" Colby asks walking behind me.
"Colby I'm running late to the diner" I say getting in my car.
"It's ok Bc I'm going to the diner too" he says getting in the passenger seat.
"Ok then let's go" I say while throwing my bag in the back.

I wrote this song during the summer. I called it sweet creature. There's no story behind it or meaning. It was just a cute little song I thought of. I mean there could be meaning behind it. But there isn't.
"Thank you everyone. That was my song 'sweet creature' it's kinda a mix off of one of those sweet love songs" I say giggling.
"I will be back in 15 minutes for another one. If you have any requests I'm happy to do them." I say heading to the back.
I was wearing a long black dress that had sparkles all over it. My hair was curled very nicely and I had a royal red lip on. Tonight was a Saturday night so that means the diner turned into a nice restaurant for the expensive and fancy people.
I had to sing all my classy songs and my sad songs that I wrote while everyone enjoyed their steaks or salads.

I wrote this song a long time ago. It was when my mom left us and my sister was on the edge of over dose. I found out she was taking drugs that weren't hers a month before the incident. So the night I found out I wrote this song.
Though through all the trauma I've been through. I've always seen singing as a way to escape. Wether it's song writing or singing in front of a audience.

"Thank you so much everyone. I will be now changing to waitress and I hope you enjoyed the evening of music" I say as I stand up and walk to the back to change into my uniform. I throw my hair into a low ponytail and remove my makeup.
"Hey Abby" I hear McKenna say as I go to the counter to give a order.
"Hey McKenna" I sat back.
"So me and the group are gonna head to the drive in after the diner closes. Wanna join?" She asks.
"Yeah ofcourse. What's the wardrobe?" I ask her.
"Umm sexy pajamas? The usual attire we do." She says giggling.
"Duh! I'll be there. Just gimme like 10 minutes after my shift to go home and get a shower and changed then I'll meet y'all there." I say.
She leaves with her stuff and I keep serving till my shifts over.
