When Elliott got downstairs, she noticed that Garrett had three buds with him. Elliott thought it'd be all right if Julie and Connie came since Guy, Adam, and Charlie were there. The twins didn't discuss anything and headed out with their five friends, who trailed behind together and spoke. Elliott wanted to badly tell her brother that Charlie knew about them being Bombay's kids, but if he knew, then he'd blow up and probably attempt to kill someone. Ellie had told Charlie that if had said anything, that she'd have Garrett beat him up, and Garrett isn't afraid to do that, even if it's his teammate.
Garrett had gotten into a fight back home with a teammate. Rhett ended up with a cut on his lip while the other guy got a black eye and bleeding nose, which he almost broke if someone hadn't of stopped that fight. Elliott knew she couldn't tell her brother that Charlie knew, but if Charlie blew it, then she'd tell him.
Ellie walked alongside her brother quietly. "Didn't think I'd mind company?" She asked.
He shook his head. "I assume you didn't think I'd mind company either?" He spoke
"Nope, you're usually fine if I'm fine with it." She replied. "How we getting there?"
He stopped at the end of the street by a bus stop. "Bus, we got a half hour." He smiled.
"I don't like buses there's freaks, hillbillies, and just creepy people." She spoke.
"Better than the Subway." Her brother smiled and waited. The others got to where they were and stood around, waiting.
An hour and a half later, they had finished eating and were now walking on the beach by Marina Del Rey. Garrett and the boys were amazed with all the boats they had seen, there was over five thousand boats sitting there in the water, they were flabbergasted, not being able to see much of that back where they live.
Elliott walked behind with Connie and Julie, they were holding their shoes or flip flops as they walked in the fresh sand. The boys walked further ahead without their shoes and walked by the water. Some of them splashed around and laughed, it almost seemed like someone was going to be mad at the end of the night if they were to get thrown in. Elliott wouldn't mind watching it, as long as it wasn't her. That's one of the reasons why she doesn't go near water with her brother, because he will push her in. He's done it before, he'll do it again.
"Don't get me wet." Garrett spoke, wanting to ruin his bran new white shorts.
Guy laughed. "Who wears white?"
"I do. I like looking proper sometimes."
Charlie walked over to the water, allowing the water to rise up to his shins as he stood there, looking at the water with nothing on his mind. Adam didn't go near the water, not wanting to be pushed in. "The water's so clear." Charlie remarked.
The girls slowly together in a row, talking about different things and keeping their sound level to a minimum. The boys stood around at the water, gazing over at the three girls as Garrett had crouched down and started picking rocks out of the sand that were in the water. "Why does it take them so long?" Guy asked.
"Because they're girls." Adam spoke.
"Well, Ellie's all right. She'd be over here too, but she's afraid of getting wet because I usually push her in and she doesn't like that." Garrett commented, picking at the rocks still. Charlie kicked some sand up below the water with his foot, watching the wet sand mixed with small pebbles slid off the side of his feet, making it feel like slime.
"Who's older?" Charlie asked.
"Talking to me?" Garrett asked, Charlie nodded and the boys looked at the Caldwell boy. "I am, even though some think it's her."
