Alex POV "Shit, James we can't get caught!" We may have been just a bit tipsy. "Look, look, look," he puts his finger on my lip obviously more drunk than me, "If anybody asks your my date and I'm the groom's college friend." I feel myself get red, I guess I was his date huh? It was just us going to a stranger's wedding.
We walk down the aisle and sit together. "John everyday I wake up next to you is a good day. Everyday I can call you mine is a good day. You..." the bride goes on and I look at James who is a drunken mess.
"Why are you crying?" I laugh quietly not wanting any attention on us. He ignores me and sniffles. This never happens, this grown man was crying over some random couple. After receptions we start making rounds for alcohol and cake we sit down at a small table.
Perfect from Ed Sheeran starts to play and I immediately jump up, "James! Let's dance!" He growls but agrees and we head to the dance floor. "This is so much fun!" I yell over the music. He stops, so I do to. "Alex I love you," he grabs my face and kisses me, "Shit I'm sorry. I just-" "I love you to James!"
