Alex POV
"Love is suffocating," George murmured playing with my hair as we lay in the grass. "And it's so intoxicating." Whenever we get high he gets like this, only way I can tell he loves me romantically and when he's sober George's always so scared of emotions.
"It's exhilarating and overbearing."

"But?"

to be honest it sounds like I'm getting dumped.
"It's so so worth it," he cups his hand over my face, it's cold. "The quick heartbeat, the cold sweaty palms every time I see you. It's worth it. The small fights that we always fix quickly is worth it," I watched him sit up so I do to.
"Your love," I start to tear up as I watch him reach for his pocket. "Every waking moment I day dream about you. Alex Elmslie, marry me."
"Yes! Of course! I- I don't even know what to say!" I wrap my arms around him and put my head in his neck sobbing happy tears. "I had to memorize all of that I wouldn't know what to do if you said no."
