First day of teaching

A/n: so i don't know how manny periods Hogwarts has a day? I read somewhere that it's 4 so imma go with that but I feel like it's more than that? Anyway enjoy the chapter!

*1 week later*
After having a few days to settle in Harry and Draco had gotten used to being back at Hogwarts. The students had arrived yesterday and today was their first day of teaching. Harry was teaching first years first period and Draco teaching fourth years. They both had third period free which they planned to spend walking round the castle grounds.
Harry dressed in smart black jeans , a white button up shirt and a black sweater over the top. Draco wore a slytherin green button up shirt and some black jeans. After doing the morning routine , and Harry debating wether to put make up on or not , which after fifteen minutes he decided that he would. They finally left to go to breakfast. Harry had on foundation and mascara but that was all. Basic and neautral not too fancy. Until he was comfortable with the kids he taught. As much as he wanted to be more feminine as he was in a very feminine mood today , he wasn't sure how his class would react to that so he'd keep it to a minimal. They entered the great hall and sat down at the teachers table. After five minutes the students poured in and settled down. McGonagall did the morning announcement and then the owl post came swooping in. Harry and Draco got a lot of letters congratulating them on getting the positions. After the food appeared the students ate and talked oblivious to everything else. Draco discreetly put his hand on Harry's thigh making the raven smile shyly. The students were talking about the new potions profesor and D.A.D.A professor. One boy at the griffindor table piped up. "Do you think they'll fight all the time? They were like enemies when they were younger." Rose shook her head. "Of course they won't silly." The boy raised an eyebrow. "How do you know that?" Rose sighed. "They have to be professional while at work. They can't fight if their colleagues." The boy shrugged and continued eating. After breakfast was done the teachers went to teach their first class. Draco resisted the urge to kiss Harry as he left to go teach 4th years potions. Harry went to go teach his first D.A.D.A lesson. As the first years filed into his classroom he smiled at them. Rose grinned at her uncle as she took a seat. One kid instantly shouted. "Your Harry Potter!!" Harry sighed. "Yes I'm Harry Potter and feel free to ask me questions at the end of class not during~ today I will teach you simple counter curses. They may be simple but they are useful. They saved my life quite a few times."
The class nodded. "We'll start of simple. A disarming charm. You can knock your opponents wand out of their hand to stop them from cursing you. First I need a volunteer." Silence. Harry shook his head. "So no one wants to disarm me?" Instantly hands shot up. Harry chuckled and picked a girl with messy blonde hair , blue eyes and a petite frame. "Okay hold your wand like this and then say 'Expelliarmus' when I go to cast a spell on you." The girl nodded nervously. Harry stood a few metres in front of her and raised his wand. "Ready? 3 , 2 , 1" the girl flicked her wand "Expelliarmus!"
Harry's wand went flying out of his hand. "Well done. First try~" he praised her as he retrieved his wand. The girl smiled shyly as she sat back down. After teaching the class to cast the disarming charm they they had a mini duel. Each pair had to try and disarm each other. First to disarm their partner from each pair got 10 house points. The bell went and the students went to break talking about how cool the lesson was making Harry smile.

*with Draco*
Draco sighed as he taught fourth years to make a wit-sharpening potion. They were quite intelligent so all he needed to do was put instructions and ingredients on the board and let them get on with it , occasionally observing them in case something went wrong. He couldn't his mind off Harry. They weren't often apart and he'd be lying if he said it ddI t bother him. He didn't like not having his omega by his side. What if Harry went into heat while teaching the class? What if he got hurt? Draco started to panic. The students looked at their potions master worriedly. His hands were clasped together and he had his head lowered. A fourth year ravenclaw look to his friend. "Is he sick?" The girl shrugged. "He doesn't look healthy that's for sure. What if he passes out?" Draco heard the comments but didn't say anything. His mind still worrying about Harry. He felt a small tap on his shoulder. It was a hufflepuff. "Um sir? Are you alright?" Draco took a deep breath and smiled weakly. "I'm fine , just thinking. How's your potion coming along?" The girl smiled. "All done." Draco stood up. "Let's check it then." He checked the potion. "You receive an O. One of the best I've seen." He said ruffling the girls hair. The girl beamed happily. "Thank you sir!" Draco nodded and went round the room assessing everyone's potions. Once the bell went and the students had left , Draco raced to Harry's classroom, He all but burst into the room startling Harry who was sat on the desk nibbling on an apple. "Dray Dray what's wrong?" Draco let out a breath going over to him and stealing a kiss. Harry was confused but melted into the kiss nonetheless. "I was worried about you...I don't like not having you at my side...I can't protect you when your not near me." Draco mumbled into Harry's hair. Harry giggled kissing his jaw. "I'm fine Dray Dray~ I don't like being apart from you either but we can make this work." Draco huffed kissing Harry again. Harry chuckled his apple core in the bin and wrapped his arms round Draco's neck as the proceeded to make out completely. Draco slid his tongue into Harry's mouth making the omega moan and shudder. They pulled away for air a string of saliva connecting them. Harry blushed leaning into his chest. "Your lucky no one saw us." Harry mumbled against his chest. "I know I just couldn't help it~" Harry smiled nuzzling him happily. "Love you Draco..." draco smiled into his hair whispering , "love you too Harry..."
