Natsu joined the rest of the guild, chatting and discussing.
"Hey have you guys seen (Y/N)?" Natsu asked his guild mates.
Levy shrugged, Grey shook his head,Ezra said no and laxus responded with a 'who is (Y/N)?'.
Well that was hopeless. Laxus is obviously had too much to drink and no else has seen her.
Wait lucy! I didn't ask Lucy!
Natsu's eyes skimmed the crowd and found Lucy. She was with Yukino. Probably talking about their keys. Natsu ran over, knocking over a few people.
"Whoa watch it jerk"
Natsu ignored them and continued running to the celestial mage.
He skidded to a stop and toppled over Lucy, Natsu was on top of the blushing blonde.
"Lucy have you seen (Y/N)? No one has since I got off stage. I'm worried about her."
The blush that was on Lucy's face vanished after he said the female dragon slayer's name.
She looked away disappointed.
"Oh that's why you came to talk..."
"Well yeah I'm looking for her and since you weren't with everyone else I didn't ask you so here I am now." Natsu explained, a bit annoyed by Lucy not answering his question.
Tears began to fog the blonde's eyes.
"Oh yeah! Well I'm sorry that I wasn't there that one time for you Natsu! I can't believe you! I've always been there for you! Then (Y/N) comes along and its goodbye Lucy!" the tears flowed down Lucy's face as she screamed at the pinkette.
Natsu wore a puzzled expression.
"What do you mean goodbye Lucy? And what has (Y/N) got to do with your rant?" Natsu shook Lucy " Where is (Y/N)? Lucy please.... Just tell me where is my water fairy is? "
Wait did I just say my water fairy? Too late to take it back now.
"Always with her isn't it" lucy continued to sob.
Natsu looked straight into Lucy's chocolate eyes that he once loved, once treasured, once would have died for and saw the love had died long ago.
"Lucy....... Just know...... Its always been her...... And it'll always be her..... I-I'm sorry..." with that the fire dragon slayer arose off the ground and turned his back to the crying blonde.
"Natsu... Please.." Lucy reached out to Natsu, who faced over his shoulder while his eyes looked on the ground.
"I'm sorry Lucy... If you won't help me find her then you're no use to me......" he began walking away, leaving a crying blonde repeatedly saying his name as if he would come back.
(Y/N) POV 🌊
I stood amongst the long swaying flowers, their pink and yellow petals portrayed the colors of happiness.
The auditorium was to crowded and the air was filled with dust. I couldn't stand it, I longed for moist air. At least out here I can practice my magic. I turned around.
Hmmf they didn't come after me? Well that's OK I don't want them distracting me, I need to concentrate.
I positioned myself in a shoulder length footing pose with my both my arms by my side and listened to the near by water stream.
Shhh... OK... Breath... Be one with your force.... Remember... You can't swim against the current... So swim with it....
The water in the stream lifted up and flowed in the air like it did in the stream.
