I crawl out from under the table, glass and wood scraping my palms and legs. I stand up and look at the scene around me, the side of the room that I threw the bomb out of, is half gone, bits of wood, brick, and glass are scattered across the floor. I notice that very few of the students have been harmed, most just have a few scratches and bruises, nothing permanent.

I quickly look into the future and see 5 burley men crash into the class room, all of them wearing black clothes and masks. I notice the swords hanging off their belts, and bulges in some of their clothes indicating they have guns as well. I can only think of one reason why they're here, they're assassins.

"Everyone, get into the practical room!" I yell at all the disorientated students, hoping none of them get caught in the fight that's about to come."Kiki stay here with me, I'm going to need your help,"

Kiki nods and walks towards me quickly, helping me get everyone in the room next door.

"Keep it locked, don't let anyone in or out, got it?" I ask one of the girls in my class, just before I close the door, I turn towards Alice. "You have to go in too Alice,"

"No, you and Kiki are staying, so why can't I?" She asks, I stare at her, trying to see if letting her stay is a good idea.

"You can't defend yourself the way we can," Kiki tells her, guessing that there was a fight to come.

"Let me stay, as a birthday present!" Alice says trying to stay, I raise my eyebrow at that.

"It was your birthday yesterday," I say, trying my best to get her in the room before the assassins come. She looked at me with puppy dog eyes, I look at the ceiling and groan.

"Fine," I sigh, shutting the door with a bang. I wave my hand over the door, placing a protective barrier over it, making it look like I put glad wrap over the door.

Isola and Garsen come in a moment later, staring at the mess with shock. They look around confused, and I answer the question in their heads before they say it allowed.

"I put them in the practical room," I say pointing at the door behind me with my thumb. "Assassins are coming in any moment now, what ever you do don't let Alice get hurt, she refused to go in there,"

"Mate," Garsen suddenly growls when he sniffs the air for the assassins, he stared at Alice for a long moment.

"What did I tell you Garsen, you should go to people's birthday parties more often," Isola says smiling at the pair, before coming over to me to get her weapon.

I reach into my purse that I always keep in my pocket, and take out Isola's preferred sword, and gun, a few knives for Kiki and my bow and a sheath of arrows for me. As a last thought I give Alice a long knife, just in case.

"How did you do that?" Alice asks me staring at my small purse with awe. I shake my head and signal that Garsen should shift. They were going to be here soon.

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1..." I say counting down to the assassins arrival as we form a loose cemi-circle around Alice, I position my first arrow, hear the popping and grunting of Garsen's transformation, and see Kiki and Isola ready their weapons from the corner of my eye.

CRASH

The 5 burley assassins burst into the room, swords and guns at the ready. I let my arrow fly into the first ones head, before everything went into chaos.

Bullets, arrows and knives flew through the air, most hitting their mark, well ours were at least. Soon we ran out of weapons, and with not enough time to get more out of my purse, we turned to magic. Fireballs flew, shadows sliced, the wolf attacked, Alice fainted, kicks and punches were exchanged, then after 3 minutes, they were all dead.

Covered in blood, dirt and sweat, I assessed everyone, healing their injuries as I went. Garsen changed back and ran over to Alice, luckily he put pants on first. I went over to the door to the practical room, after putting all the weapons in my purse, and dismantled the protective barrier. I opened the door, and told everyone inside that everything was fine, and safe.

"Let's take her to Yesterday, and discuss everything that's happened in the tactics room," I hear Isola say to everyone as I walk up to them. She turns and looks at me, "Verity tell the others what's happening, and change the memory of the others," I nod at her words before following her out the room with Kiki, Garsen behind me with Alice in his arms.

I let my mind out and reach across the chatter of others minds for my friends, all the ones that are needed at Yesterday. Once on the brink of each of their minds I send the same message to all of them.

"Bomb explosion, everyone is fine, Demon know it's us, meeting at Yesterday in the tactics room, if need be stay at school, if not come to the meeting, i'll keep you updated,"

They all said ok in their minds, as we continued to Garsen's car. I had already changed the memories of all the students and the teacher saying we were not there and it was just a normal bomb explosion, I also made sure Isola and Garsen's teacher didn't remember they entered class, after that I changed the electronic system so we were never at school. After I finished all of this, I got into the car's passenger seat.

Kiki got in the drivers seat, with Isola in the back seat, as well as a distraught Garsen and a sleeping Alice. Kiki started the engine, and we were out of the schools parking lot in seconds. She headed to our secret base Yesterday, speeding a bit after Garsen started to get agitated.
