Here Goes The Bell...

Bells, Bells, found everywhere

Please take me to Hogwarts or Neverland!

Oh! Who had the audacity to disturb my deep slumber?Eh?

That annoying alarm clock bell, making my life so bland!

It rings so loud, reminds me of something awful

Unfortunately, School again today morning, oh well!

Smiled my mom, with a cup of coffee,

Ran to see who rung the doorbell!

My geyser beeped! Warm water was ready!

I would often wonder, or rather, question

the purpose and existence of School,

Oh yes, accompanied by homework and tuitions, special mention!

My toaster would ring, my toast was ready!

My coffee maker summoned me with a mug,

I was very sleepy, despite sleeping like a koala,

Only if I could bring a jug!

And I would still contemplate,

Should I go to school or should I not?

But my mother would pleasantly, pleasingly remind me of reality,

Rush my dear! Or you'd get late!

School bell rings, boring lectures begin!

Another monotonous day which could've been fun filled

Would be wasted again like no other!

How I wished I could've just slept and chilled!

But the best time of the day was near!

That sound, a bliss, so holy, so heavenly!

It made honey drip from my ears, perhaps elixir!

I would wait desperately for the dispersal bell all day!

I would rush home, faster than a cheetah,

Quite contrary to going to school like a snail!

I hated school, it's very evident

It made my life as good as hell!

I would force myself to do y homework at least,

instead, of getting publicly humiliated by my teachers

Since procrastination always gets the better of me,

Unknowingly, I would wake up watching TV shows, seven seasons later!

And then my phone or doorbell would ring

My friends would call me to play!

These bells, I've cherished and loved the most!

Undoubtedly, the best part of the day!

Bells are the sound of my life!

May it be in a temple or jingle bells!

Some would bring nostalgia after recollection,

Some would remind me of glory days only I could tell!
