Chapter 8

Weeks had passed during our practice match between Aoba Johsai and the Karasuno Neighborhood Association because of Ukai-sensei. Ukai-sensei became our coach to help us prepare for the Interhigh.

The training was intense. I left school, with permission, and headed to a nearby convenience store to buy some energy drinks. Tobi-kun was about to help me, but I told him to stay and practice.

When I entered the convenience store, I saw a tall guy with a weird bed hair, staring at me. I shrugged it off and got a basket and head to the stored fridge.

I grabbed 2 upsized bottles and was about to get a small size of the energy drink but… it's a bit way up. Jumping will somehow cause a commotion if I hit something and things will fall and etc…

I tried to tip-toe but, not enough height!

Someone grabbed 2 bottles of it. I looked up and saw the dude that was staring at me when I entered the store. He looked down at me and grinned

"Nice to see you again, munchkin" only one person calls me that…

"You too, lazy-butt"
