Chapter 12: Cathy's Anger

Note: there is a huge timeskip between the last chapter and this one. It's the night before they leave for the school again.

Aphmau's POV
Once I finally got over my sickness, everyone decided we would leave early to head back to the school. It's the night before we leave. Everything is packed, except our sleeping bags.

I woke up when someone grabs me roughly, and starts dragging me outside by my hair.

"Ow! What the hell?!" I exclaim, reaching up to try and pry their hands away.

"Be quiet, and this will be quick!" The person hisses. I'm too dazed and panicked to recognize them, but I do register when I see them holding a knife above me.

I scream, and close my eyes as they being the knife down towards me, waiting for it.

It doesn't come.

Hesitantly, I open one eye, and see another person holding their arm.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" They yell.

Someone else grabs me, and I scream again, trying to push them away.

"Aphmau~senpai, calm down! It's Kawaii~chan!" The person says.

"K-Kawaii~chan?" I stop, and blink a couple times. Finally, I register what's happening.

Cathy was the one who just tries to stab me, and Katelyn was the one who stopped her. Kawaii~chan was pulling me away from them out of harm's way. Lucinda, Jenny, and Betty were standing around, not quite sure what to do.

Aaron, Garroth, Zane, and Vylad, all race out of the boys tent (all without shirts), and look around.

Aaron runs over to me, Zane runs and grabs Cathy's other hand. Together, Zane and Katelyn made her unable to move. Garroth and Vylad run over to the other girls.

"What happened?!" Aaron demands, kneeling beside me.

I just breathe heavily, unable to really speak.

Aaron's POV
"What happened?!" I demand, kneeling next to Aphmau. She's going into shock.

"Cathy, sh-she tried to kill Aphmau!" Kawaii~chan explains quickly.

"WHAT?!" I exclaim, feeling a rush of power flowing into my eyes. I close them.

"We woke up when we heard Aphmau scream. When we exited the tent, Cathy was about to stab her heart. Katelyn ran over and stopped her, and I dragged Aphmau away." She says, "Is Aphmau okay?"

"She's going into shock." I reply, "Go help the others, I'll take care of her."

Kawaii~chan nods, and runs off to the others.

Katelyn's POV
"Let me go!" Cathy spits.

"No way Psycho! You just tried to kill my best friend!" I retort.

"She deserves it! She took my Aaron, and she'll pay!" She exclaims, starting to spout nonsense about how Aphmau's a horrid theif that's trying to steal Aaron's heart from Cathy.

Or... something like that.

"Here, I'll bind her hands with magic." Lucinds comes over. I take Cathy's other hand from Zane, and pull them together.

"I said let me go!" Cathy yells.

We ignore her, and Lucinda uses her magic. A transparent purple bubble appears around Cathy's hands, keeping them together.

"I wouldn't try to break that." Lucinda warns, "It is very strong, and will blow up if you do manage to pop it." I snicker.

"Look, the sun is rising." Kawaii~chan points at the sky. The sun was indeed rising.

"Is everyone okay?" I ask, looking around.

"We're all fine." Betty replies.

"What about Aphmau?" I ask.

"She's fine, just badly shaken." Aaron says. I look over at them. Aphmau is curled up in his arms shaking, and whimpering.

"We should get going right away, and turn Cathy in." Vylad says.

"I don't think that's a good idea..." we all look over at Kaiya. Taiya is next to her. They had been so quiet, we forgot they were there.

"Well, Aphmau's not in any shape to travel, and how are we supposed to get Cathy?" Taiya demands.

"We stick her in the back by herself and put make Garroth guard her." I say.

"Why me?!" Garroth exclaims.

"And Aphmau?" Taiya asks.

"Zane can drive. Aaron can sit with us with Aphmau, and we can keep her company until she's calmed down." Lucinda says.

"Fair enough. Let's go." Kaiya says.

So we leave.
