Chapter 1: The Cage and Rasetsus

A few hours had passed, Hijikata had finally retain some of his strength and is able to move his body a little. He had looked around the other cages.

In his cage, there is himself, Yukimura Chizuru, and surprisingly....the three Oni whom he had to fight during the war — Kazama Chikage, Shiranui Kyo, Amagiri Kyuju, and Chizuru's brother...Nagumo Kaoru...

He looked around, but he did not see anybody else...not even his friends....

"Hm...Urgh...!" And slowly, Kazama have also begun to wake up..."What is...the meaning of...this?"

"You're finally awake," Hijikata said,
"...Hijikata Toshizo...What a surprise," Kazama said with an annoyed look, "As I hate to ask, but...where in the hell are we?"

"Who knows...I woke when they threw us into the cage, as for other things...Hell I would know," Hijikata said, "However....The Rasetsus are here,"

When Kazama heard the name of those abominations...he frowned deeply "What do you mean? Non were left after the war," He said,

"Of course I know that, I even saw Kodo got killed by his own Rasetsus with my own eyes," Hijikata said, "But I wasn't wrong, they are Rasetsus,"

"Hmmm. Hey, Shiranui! Wake up!" Kazama then went to kick Shiranui awake,

The force caused Shiranui to wake up instantly "OWW! That hurts Kazama!"
"You were taking too long, I decided to wake you up myself," Kazama glared,

"HUH!? Then wake people up more gently!!" Shiranui complained,

"Ugh...! Where is this...?" Then Amagiri also followed suit as he slowly opens his eyes, "You are...Hijikata Toshizo, I presume?"

"Yeah, it's been a long time Amagiri," Hijikata said, he still have some respect toward this Oni since he's the most polite one out of the three,

"Where the heck are we!? And why are we in a cage!?" Shiranui shouted,
"Shut up, Shiranui!" Kazama groveled,

"Aren't you the least bit annoyed!? We're in a goddamn cage!!" Shiranui said,

"Erhm...Hmmm?" Now, Chizuru finally regains consciousness,

"Chizuru, are you okay?" Hijikata asked,
"Hi-Hijikata....? Where are we....?"

"Don't worry, just get up slowly..," Hijikata said,

"K-Kaoru...!?" Chizuru hurriedly went to Kaoru's side, a shocked expression on her face, "B-But...he was...," Chizuru looks at Kazama.
Wasn't Kaoru...killed by Kazama?

"Don't look at me, even I have no clue as to why he's alive," Kazama said,
"Just where are we, exactly?" Chizuru asked again,

"Geez, that question's been replayed for a while now," Shiranui said as he kicks the bars,

"However, the most worrying subject is that those fakes are here," Kazama said,
"Fakes...you mean those Rasetsus? I thought we killed all of them," Shiranui said,

"Hate to break it to you, but they were here. They're the ones who put us in this stupid cage," Hijikata said,
"We should find a way out of here," Chizuru said,

"Yeah, let me see if I can bend this thing!" Shiranui went to touch the bars, just as he touched the bars, and electrical shock runs through his body sending him backwards,

"Ugh...! W-what was...that!?" Shiranui groaned,
"Hm....Hmmm? C-Chizu...ru...?" Kaoru had slowly opened his eyes,

"Kaoru! Are you okay...?" Chizuru asks,
However, when Kaoru fully regains his consciousness, he suddenly push Chizuru away from him
