You know that moment when you have a nightmare you aren't able to forget and it gets stuck in your mind forever, repeating and repeating and making you jump out of bed every night? Yeah, that was what I was going through.
Just that that time, it got me up in the morning, right before my phone alarm rang. I looked around the room lazily, a little lost because of the nightmare, before memories from yesterday flooded in.
Oh, yeah... I was there... not anywhere else…
I sighed and forced my legs out of bed, into the bathroom. After a shower to wash myself and my matinal routine, I went to the kitchen in my white tank top and pajama pants and made myself a coffee.
Since the previous night, couldn't get the damn cigs out of my head and no matter how hard I tried to get rid of the habit, it was just impossible. For me. At least. I took my cigs from one of the bags and went outside on the patio, sitting in one of the chairs.
The scent of sea and salt mixed filled my nostrils and made me exhale a shuddered breath in the cold air of the morning. I lighted up one cig and folded one leg over the other as I watched the waves hit the shore mercilessly.
The sound of the water and a few birds chirping around made me feel at peace and almost forget of the nightmare I had.
I rose the coffee to my nose and inhaled the sweet scent of pure, black coffee hand made. I sipped from it and tipped my head back, enjoying the peace I hoped I'd enjoy every morning.
I inhaled from my cig and looked around the shore for a while until I finished my breakfast. Yeah, breakfast meant coffee and a cig for me. Nothing else.
I got up after another few minutes of peace and went inside, looking for some clothes for today. I was going to head to the Campus to register myself and get my books and schedule. Then, I was buying some colors to paint the walls. Lastly, I had to get a job.
Firstly, I needed a car.
Looking at the silver watch a little loose on my wrist I saw that it was around eight a.m.. Enzo should've been up by then.
I entered my room, the intention to get dressed being the first worry fromy mind. I took a white crop top with a jeans romper, leaving some space for my skin to be visible. I wasn't a big fan of bras, so I decided that my nipple rings wouldn't have been a bad view. I left my Queen necklace on the neck and grabbed a few rings which would match to the ribbon around my waist. Grabbing a pair of white sneakers I took a bag and my phone and left my "apartment", as Dad called it.
I checked my phone and counted the houses, until I reached Enzo's. It was annoying that the houses had the same exterior. The numbers are the only ones that make a difference, and they're barely visible.
Lucky me I planned on making differences.
It was my house after all! For the next few years, baby, so I had the right to change it however I pleased.
I didn't even bother knocking on Enzo's door, I stormed inside and headed straight to his bedroom. In his bed was laying a naked chick along with him. Thankfully they were covered in the sheets. The clothes on the ground showed that the lady might've been a hooker. Or a chick from the club.
