A month. It had been a month since Tori and Tamara's brake up. The relationship ended with a huge fight, a broken lamp, and a bleeding Tamara. Tam's drinking problem got worse. After finding out about her girlfriends other relationship, her self-esteem plummeted, which wasn't very high to begin with. Tonight was one of those nights where she was going to get shit-faced drunk, rant to some poor stranger, and after about two hours Ell would come to the bar to pick her up. Yup, that sounds about right. Tamara was already pretty drunk. She slightly leaned on the counter while staring at her drink. She could see her reflection in the alcoholic beverage; it  made her cringe. God, how did Tori fall for those hideous eyes? Tamara picked up her drink and took a shot. Damn did she need this. "Are you okay?" Asked a gentle voice. Tamara looked to her left to see a beautiful woman. She had fair skin, dark brown eyes that seemed to sparkle, and beautiful red curly hair. "I've- *hic* I've been better..." "let me guess, relationship problems?" Tamara looked down at her empty glass. "Ex-girlfriend..." she explained. "Ah. I'm sorry. Brake ups always suck..." "it's worse because- *hic* we live in the sa- same  house along with two-  *hic* fr- friends..." The woman looked at her with a shocked expression "oh my god! Really!? That's terrible! I'm sorry love!" Tamara liked this woman. She  wasn't exactly sure why. Maybe it was because she wasn't scared of her eyes, maybe because she didn't question anything when Tamara said she used to have a girlfriend. Maybe because she's been the only one who seems to listen, or maybe it's because she talked like To- "A shot for the lady please!" The woman declared. The bar tender quietly nodded and fixed up Tamara's drink. He handed the beverage to her and she immediately took it down. Tamara turned to the woman with a half lidded expression. I li- *hic* like you!..." Tamara slurred. The woman smiled softly. "I like you too". And at that very moment, Tamara blacked out.

"C'mon Tam, we're nearly there" "I don't want too!" Tamara responded childishly. "I can see that. Let's go Tam, unless you want to anger Ell. You don't want an angry Ell do you?" "N-no..." "then let's go!"  Tori kept walking before noticing Tamara sitting down. "Tamara, what are you doing?" Tori asked as she walked back towards Tam. " *hic* carry me!" Tamara demanded. Tori gave her a blank look. "....What?" "You heard me!" " you are perfectly capable of walking-  Tam get up!" Before Tori could finish, Tamara layed an the sidewalk. "Not unless y- you *hic* carry me!"  "You know what-, fine!" Tori picked up Tam . One arm holding her legs, the other holding her torso. Tamara cuddled against the warmth around her before falling to sleep. Tori looked down at the sleeping female, her face warmed up a bit. 'Great! Now look what you've done!  you let her get close! you care for her! Uuuugggghhh! I should have never agreed to pick her up!...'  Tori looked back at Tamara's face. She had to admit, it was nice to see the smaller female calm for once. Her eyebrows weren't furrowed, and her mouth wasn't put into a line-like shape. She just looked so... peaceful. "Maybe this isn't so bad..." Tori thought.

Tamara woke up to sunlight directly in her face. Her eyelids felt heavy and her head was killing her. God, how much did she drink last night? It took her a second to realize this wasn't her room; and when she did she couldn't help but feel nervous ( and very confused ). "Oh! You're awake!" Tamara turned to see the woman from last night, a warm smile on her face. Her face warmed up from the embarrassment of passing out and this woman having to drag her to her house, but also the fact that she found this woman cute. Really cute. "I took you too my room since I don't know  where you live. I hope that's okay." "O- oh um- it's fine. Thanks." The woman handed her a glass of water and painkillers. "Hey... um.. sorry about last night..." "hm? Oh! It's fine! I mean, everyone goes to a bar to get drunk right?" Tamara gave a small smile "I suppose so". Tamara popped a painkiller in her mouth and chugged it down with water. "You know, I never caught your name. My names Charlotte, you?" Tam set the empty glass and the bottle of painkillers on the nightstand next to the bed. "Tamara. But please call me Tam". Charlotte gave her a satisfied smile.  "What a beautiful name". Tamara looked down. She was a tad bit on the flustered side. "W-well I should head back home" Tam said. Putting on her checkered convers and standing up. "Before you leave, take this" Charlotte handed her a piece of paper holding an address and phone number. "If you ever need to talk, you can call me or come here and I'll fix you some tea". Tamara smiled. Genuinely smiled. "I'll make sure to get on that". Tamara left the room and made her way out of the house. Now all she needed to do was find out where the heck she was so she could head home.

Words can't describe how happy I am I don't have to keep calling her "The woman". So in this story Tamara is like Thomas. If I were writing this in the  Eddsworld perspective, I'd be calling Tom Thomas most of the book. Anyway! Thank you to anyone who is reading my trash and have a lovely day!
