Tamara decided to visit Charlotte. She was beginning to miss the woman and wanted to see her again. The house she was walking towards was light grey with small pink flowers. Indicating it was Charlottes. She knocked on the door and waited for a reply. Not long after, Charlotte opened the door with a smile on her face. God, it seemed like this woman could never be unhappy. "Tam! what a wonderful surprise!" Charlotte embraced Tamara in a loving hug. Tam felt her cheeks warm up and felt butterflies form in her stomach. Weird... she hasn't felt that way since...- "Come in! come in! make yourself at home!" Tamara followed Charlotte inside. The walls were a very light pastel pink with a few photos of her and her friends. In the living room, was a light grey couch with an oak wood coffee table in front of it. "You have a very nice house," Tamara said as she took a seat on the couch. "Thank you! I'm kinda on a budget so I don't have much to work with... Anyways- tea? I'm going to make some." "Um.. sure." Charlotte walked off to the kitchen leaving Tamara by herself. Why did she feel so weird around Charlotte? They were just friends, doing things that friends do. Right? Tamara sat there for a few minutes thinking. There was no way she liked Charlotte. I mean, they met only a few weeks ago! 'ugh! stupid feelings... Why can't I know what you are!?' "Um... are you okay?" Tamara looked up to see Charlotte holding two small cups of tea and looking very confused. "I'm fine." Charlotte shrugged it off and handed them the glass. "I'm assuming you came here to talk about 'she who must not be named'?" Charlotte took a seat next to Tamara awaiting a response. "Actually, I was hoping we could just hang out." Charlotte seemed a bit surprised but smiled. "I'd love too."
Once again, Tamara had to go back to own home. Charlotte hated seeing her leave. She wanted Tamara to stay with her. Be hers. But she couldn't do anything currently. She just had to wait, and see how this played out.
Bum, bum, bum! Sorry the chapter is shorter. I wanted to show more of the relationship between Tamara and Charlotte. (Btw, the only way I remember how to spell Charlotte is Shar-latté). Also, what do you think of the cover? I'm not the best at drawing but it's better than the last cover. I also want to thank @Victor Ramos for giving me the motivation to write this chapter! You said you liked the story and made me want to work on this chapter. So thank you! I'm not a good writer, but I'm glad someone likes my stories.
