Chapter Twenty-One

"Luuuu," I called running my hand through Luke's messy locks, frowning when not seeing him budge. I threw my head back before pushing myself out the bed heading to the kitchen they put in the room, loving how small the modern area was. I stared at the black cupboards before walking further into the room, running my hand long the white marble countertops stopping at the coffee machine. I opened the draw underneath it seeing sachets and pods of different types of hot chocolate, coffee and tea all lined up perfectly making me smile slightly.

Purple stood out of all the colours, gravitating me towards it. I flicked through all the pods and sachets before picking it up smiling when seeing Cadbury in the familiar cursive white writing on the top. Quietly I opened the machine, shaking the pot before placing it it squeezing the top down until a small click was heard. Above me were cupboards full of cups of all shapes and sizes making me grab a doughnut one loving how different it was. The sound of running water filled the small hotel room, making me panic about waking Luke up.

My hands gripped the doughnut shaped mug bring it if the machine before flicking it off making the small room fall into complete silence. Arms wrapped around my stomach rubbing the tiny bit of exposed skin at the top of my waistband,

"Hey you're up," I said feeling small kisses placed along the side of my neck making me tilt my head to the side slightly hearing a hum from behind me.

"Well someone weren't being the quietest person," he said spinning me around and tapping my noise making a laugh escape my mouth. His cold hands gripped my waist before lifting me up on the counter parting my legs and standing in between them, looking up at me as I was now slightly taller then him.

"Reminds me of something," I said bringing the mug to my lips watching a smile fall on his face.

"How come you took this job then?" He asked heading towards the fridge and grabbing the milk before pouring some into the bowl.

"Honestly? I need the money." I told him sighing before turning the stove off, placing the pan in the sink and the pancakes in the bin as I won't be eating them. He nodded before also pouring me a bowl "shouldn't I be doing that?" I joked knowing that, that is my job.

"Sometimes darling you also need looking after,"

"I am shocked you are up though," I muttered eating a spoon full of cereal "you know considering it is currently 8am and you aren't usually up," I shrugged placing the spoon back in the bowl closing my eyes slowly eating the mouth full.

"The noises of you trying to find a pan woke me up," he joked making me roll my eyes and avoid his intense stare.

"I am sorry," I whispered shaking my head, my hair flying in front of my face making it hide the tears starting to fill my eyes over burning the pancakes.

"I did love that day," he smiled pecking my lips before pulling away,

"Stop being so cringe Lu," I laughed pushing him away and sliding of the counter placing the empty mug in the sink smiling when feeling arms wrap around me again. "Can't stay away can you?" I joked hearing him hum again as he placed his head in the crook of my neck.

"How can I when you look so beautiful?"

"What we doing today Lu?" I questioned pulling him towards the little sofa in the corner pulling him so his head was laying on my chest, his turning so he was facing my stomach.

"We can either have a relaxing day or be a tourist," he listed making me tap my chin in thought, a chuckle coming from Luke's mouth.

"I've never seen Paris," I shrugged feeling him nod beneath me,
