Wassup guys I'm back with another collection of Taekook oneshots and this time they're in Omegaverse au 😭❤

I really love Omegaverse because it's very diverse and imaginative and probably is my favorite universe in fanfiction.

Okay so for those who do not know the dynamics of this universe, I'll be explaining it a little bit from my perspective.

Alpha
• The top of the Omegaverse hierarchy.
• Are able to impregnate Omegas and, if their pheromones are strong enough, can coax a Beta to open up their heatslit and become a Faux-Omega.
• Can be male or female but the weird thing is even female Alphas have dicks so-
• Have extraordinarily big genitals.
• Can knot their mates to ensure successful breeding.
• Bulky and big bodies (even without muscles), are typically bigger than average.
• Can smell pheromones.

Beta
• Regular humans
• Can be bred, too, but they need Alphas who have strong pheromones to make them pregnant.
• Faux-Omegas are Betas that have been claimed/mated with Alphas and are able to birth children. They're called Faux because they're not really born/classified as a true Omega.
• Can be able to breed Omegas but in specific conditions only.
• They're very normal just like us
• Kind of rare in this world because most people should be able to classify as an Alpha or Omega.
• Cannot smell pheromones.

Omega
• Considered as the lowest point of the hierarchy.
• Can be impregnated by Alphas, Betas in specific conditions.
• Omegas can be male or female. The males have extremely small genitals and have this breeding hole called heatslit.
• Omegas have the ability to produce slick or natural lube in their heatslits.
• Small body frames in general but some tropes also have Omegas who can match Alphas with body proportions.
• Can smell pheromones.

Heatslit
• Breeding hole for male Betas and Omegas.
• In some tropes, heatslits mature when a person develops their second gender. For Alphas it closes completely, Betas can open theirs if a strong Alpha would mate them, Omegas mature their heatslits with a uterus.
• Heatslits are the space found between the genitals and the anus (the taint or perineum).

Heat
• Only Omegas go through heat.
• It's kind of like menstruation for women. But when in heat, Omegas crave for sex because only an Alpha's knot can satisfy it or relieve an Omega from pain.
• Usually lasts about 3-7 days monthly. Some tropes have heats every six months. Omegas can have irregular heats, too.
• Heat surpressants are also a thing if ever an Omega doesn't want to be touched by an Alpha. They are injectible drugs or pills.
• It has a very high possibility of pregnancy when Alphas and Omegas have sex in heat.
• In soms tropes, Alphas can be triggered by heats and tries to force themselves on the Omegas.

Rut
• Only Alphas experience rut.
• It's like heat for Omegas. Alphas have a high sex drive during this time. They can also get very aggressive, dominant, and possessive.
• Usually lasts 3-7 days monthly. Some tropes have ruts every six months. Alphas can have irregular ruts, too.
• In some tropes, Alphas can turn feral when in rut. They don't have any consciousness on their own.
• If mated, Alphas and Omegas sync their rut and heat so the chances of breeding are higher.

Mating/Bonding
• It's when an official binding is created between Alphas and Omegas. Once they are mated, they are mated forever. If it is not their mated partner, they will reject someone if they try to have sex.
• It is possible to get pregnant without mating.
• Mate bonds can either be conscious or unconscious. Conscious mating is the usual scene in Omegaverse, the pair does it knowingly and with full consent. Unconscious mating is when their feelings are in sync during sex, even if they do not want to be mated- but it's possible they are thinking of mating one another during it- they can unconsciously mate.
• Mate marks are either bites (conscious mating) or symbols (conscious and unconscious mating) appearing when they have bonded with their partners.
• In a sub-type of Omegaverse which clashes with soulmates, they already have their mate mark at birth and they have to find their right partners to breed successfully.

Pheromones
• Distinct scents Alphas and Omegas have.
• For Alphas, they usually have strong, musky, and earthy undertones (e.g. petrichor, sandalwood, campfire wood etc.) Omegas have sweet-smelling kinds (e.g. vanilla, flowers, sweet food etc.). Both classifications can control pheromones when to release and when to subdue (but they can't hide it completely without a scent surpressant).
• When in heat, Omegas cannot control pheromones that is why some Alphas can turn feral.
• If a couple does not want to mate yet, Scenting is a temporary kind of bond which Alphas and Omegas do to each other to make other people stay away from their partners.

Dominant and Recessive
• The hierarchy goes something like this:
- Dominant Alpha (Dom-Alpha)
- Recessive/Common Alpha (Alpha)
- Beta
- Dominant/Common Omega (Omega)
- Recessive Omega (R-Omega)
• Dominant Alphas are very, very, very rare. They have higher abilities than that of Recessive/Common Alphas and are more sought after.
• Dominant Omegas are just common Omegas. Their difference is that Recessive Omegas are as rare as Dom-Alphas, and they have a very low chance of getting pregnant, which means Recessive Omegas are looked down upon society and sees them as unfit to mate.

There are also types of the Omegaverse au but I will only be explaining the common ones.

Wolf Omegaverse
• In Wolf Omegaverse, Alpha/Beta/Omega (ABO) can change into literal wolves.
• Some stories even have an ABO-Human pairings so it kind of clashes with the Hybrid au. If mated, the human is considered as a wolf, too. For example, Human Taehyung and Omega Jeongguk mate so that automatically turns Taehyung into Alpha. Or Alpha Taehyung and Human Jeongguk mate so Jeongguk becomes an Omega.

Maturity Omegaverse
• In this type, a person has to wait until they reach a specific age to develop their second gender. For me, I usually use the ages of 13 (because it's the start of the teenage years) or 18 (because this is the maturity age for our world, too).
• When matured, Alphas have their first ruts and Omegas have their first heats.

Pure Omegaverse
• Pure Omegaverse is when a child is born with their second gender already. They don't have to wait for a certain age to know if they are A/B/O.

Altering Omegaverse
• This is kind of tricky to explain so let's put it in a short story.
• Jeongguk was born/classified an Alpha, but he's never been attracted to Omegas. Taehyung is a Dom-Alpha. When they meet, Jeongguk feels certain changes in his body and overnight as he transforms into an Omega.
• So basically you will be able to change your classification if triggered by special circumstances (attraction, strong pheromones, the willpower to change etc.)

Okay that' the end of it. Hopefully, I covered up everything and if anything is missing I'll just edit or add some parts here so check this note every once in a while!
