A few notices I wanted to tell people before continuing.

First of all, it took me absolutely aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssss to write this one shot because of how long it is, so I apologise for it  taking me ages to publish. It has taken me days and days and possibly months to write this. I haven't published any chapters on another book because of it. Well, I did take a break when reaching 6000 words and focused on other books for a while but I knew that I would have to continue, in the end. So yeah.... sorry about that!

Second thing is that in this one shot, I wanted to tell you about the characters. Star is the normal Star, except she doesn't live in Mewni, she doesn't have a wand and she isn't a princess. Or at least, she isn't a princess on Earth. She can't get back to Mewni. She is half human and wants to try and get back to Mewni. Tom doesn't live in hell and he is a human. Ponyhead is a human.

Marco and Star are...................... acquaintances.

Marco's POV

Senior year. The year I have absolutely dreaded. There is the prom, and exams, and the worst of all of them which is homecoming, the graduation and applying to collage to think about.

As I walked into school, I saw the group of popular. There was Tom Lucitor. He had orange hair and a few freckles on his cheeks. He always wore contact lenses that made his eyes look red, so his nickname was 'The Demon'. Next to him was Jackie Lynn Thomas. She always had a skateboard, so was known as 'The Beast'. Then there was Pryah Hobbs. She was known as 'Ponyhead'. She was the school president and the chairman of the school council too. Then, there was Oskar Grayson. He was known as 'The vampire' because of his teeth. The only person missing from that group was Star Butterfly. She didn't have a nickname but was the most awesome of the group. I even have a crush on her! We met in ninth grade and liked her ever since.

I clutched the straps of my bag as I quickly walked past and diverted my eyes such as to avoid eye contact with any of them.
"Hey safe kid!" smirked Jackie.
"Hey beast," I said, as I bowed my head attempting to avoid eye contact and quickly walk to the locker room, trying to ignore the snickers and the laughs coming from that group.

I opened my locker and stuffed my bag in it.
"Another 190 days of boredom," I groaned, as I shut the door of my locker. I looked beside me and saw THE Star Butterfly stood there putting her bag in her locker. Oh yeah, it's natural for that to happen, seeing as her locker is next to mine.

"Oh, hey! Marco, isn't it?" she beamed. The reason I like her was because she was the friendliest of the group. And she wasn't mean. And she didn't call me 'safe kid'. And she knows my name. And she's smart. And she's funny. And she's cute. And she appreciates me.
"Yep. Your the only one who hasn't called me 'safe kid' all day. And I have only just gotten here," I smiled nervously. She shut her locker and looked at me.
"That's mean. Was it my friends?" sighed Star, looking down to the floor sadly.
"Oh... Uh...."
"It's ok. I kinda know it was them," she sighed, walking towards me.

Without knowing, Ponyhead and Tom were hiding behind a wall, earwigging to our conversation.
"I wouldn't take it personally," she smiled, putting an arm on my shoulder.

I blushed slightly as she walked off and gave ME a wink. Ponyhead and Tom quickly ran off, getting told off by a teacher for running in the halls on the way.

I looked up at the ceiling.
"Stars are beautiful!" I gasped happily.

That night...
No one's POV

"Guys, honestly. We have school. It isn't summer anymore! I have to get to bed!" groaned Star as Jackie dragged her to Tom's house.

They went up to Tom's bedroom and sat in a circle.
"Quickly then," she sighed, giving in.
"Truth or dare Demon?" smirked Jackie.
"Truth."
"Do you have a crush on Star?" she smirked.
"Honest answer Beastie? No," he smirked. Star let out a sigh of relief.
