Chap. 19 : Love and Lies

The legend of the cat and the rabbit... a bloody story Full of emotions and meanings.

Some believe that the cat should have eaten the rabbit instead of waiting...

Others thinks that the rabbit shouldn't have given his trust so easily...

So many interpretations and morals for a simple and yet complex story...

The cat was malicious and sly... he hide himself in bushes ready to jump on his pray...

He prepared himself to jump on the butterfly that was gently sat on a plant... but a growl and big figure stopped him to. Scared, he ran away far in the forest... it was somewhere that he wasn't too familiar with and he slowly lost his way.

Starving and sad to not find it's way back, he went to search for something to eat...

He was abandoned... and now lost

Another howling scared him and he ran again but stumbled over a fluffy white ball... clearly smaller than him.

The small animal panicked at the sudden shock and tried to stand but with the weight of the cat on him... impossible

The cat sensing the distress instinctively stood up...

It was a white fluffy young rabbit... looking frightened by the predator in front of him...

The cat thought it would be a delicious meal for his starving stomach...

But when he looked at the frightened little thing he knew that if he made a wrong move he could say goodbye to his dinner...

So he had to be ingenious and vicious...

- Don't be scared ... I'm not going to eat you.

He said with his softest voice... a lie

The wary rabbit relaxed a little

-Are you lost too..?

The rabbit nodded...

- What about we try to find a way to exit this forest together..?

He proposed smirking inside at the innocent white ball ...

- But I live here ... I just want to go home... with my mom and my dad.

Answered the rabbit...

Well a whole Bunny family would be even better... more things to eat ... thought the cat

The cat quickly tried to convince the rabbit...

-So I could accompany you to your family... it's not like it would disturb me that much since I'm lost.

The rabbit accepted the offer and that's how their journey started...

The rabbit stopped every now and then to eat grass and plants while the cat patiently waited ...

Bored the cat decided to talk a little to his ignorant pray.

-Why are you lost.?

- Me and My family got separate and during that hard time I lost myself... I hardly remember my way home but I want to see them again.

-And you .?

The rabbit asked the cat back

Well... why not tell him since either way the rabbit will finish in his stomach
