Chapter 13 is there hope?

Colby's POV
So there we are all sitting in the waiting room Corey to my left Jake to my right. I thought about a lot of things like how long will she be in a coma and suddenly i realize a tear is falling down my face so instead of sitting there and waiting i stood up and walked out towards my car.
"Colby where are you going?" Sam yells
I just kept walking but just before I reach my car Sam runs in front of me and blocks my door.
"Sam move" I say my voice weak and raspy
"No Colby not till you tell me 5 things."
"Why Sam why do I need to tell you stuff when you were talking behind my back to Jake?" I say now a little louder
"Cause Colby I'm worried about you."
"Whatever what are the 5 things."
"1 Where are you going?"
"Home then target."
"Ok 2 why are you leaving?"
"Cause I can't stand waiting while my thoughts are bouncing around in my head." I say quietly as another tear falls down my face
"3 how are you holding up"
I hug Sam and start bawling my eyes out "not well" I say in between cry's.
Sam hugs me tight and let's me cry for a little bit.
"You can go ahead and continue."
"4 what are some of these thoughts that you mentioned earlier?"
"It's all my fault"
"Colb.."
"No sam don't tell me it's not I know it is if it weren't for me going upstairs first the stairs wouldn't have been as wet."
"Colby it's not your fault it could have still happened even if she went up first."
"Ok what's number 5"
"Ok don't get mad at me for asking this but do you like Leila?"
"No why would I like my best friend."
"You just seem to have really connected with her."
"Can I go now Sam?"
"Yes but at target can you grab me a pack of Oreos?"
"Sure Sam I'll be back later tonight between 10 and 12 call me if the doctors say anything."
"Ok see you colby"
I get in the car and start it and drive to the house and pack a bag of clothes then I head to target on the way there I think about what Sam said, do I like Leila? Nah I could never, right? Yea I don't like her why would I even think that.
*2 hours later*
I pull back into a parking space at the hospital not realizing I was gone so long that hardly any cars were here it was also 1 am so I was gone way past when I said I would be back. I turn off the car open my door get out closing the door behind me then going to the passenger side and grabbing the bag from target that had 2 bags of Oreos and 1 thing of chips. I lock the car and start walking into the hospital but before I got to the door I heard a slight wimpier coming from the side of the hospital I carefully walk over to see what it was when I saw a little girl around the age of 6 sitting there her ankle bleeding. I quickly make sure there's nobody near and pick her up and carry her into the hospital.
"Hello my names tori how may I help you"
the lady at the front desk says
"Hi I found this girl around the side of the hospital."
"Ok do you know anything about her?"
"No I was walking in to visit my friends and wait on news for one of my friends when I heard whimpering and saw her around the corner."
"Ok we will take care of her do you want to be out as a parental Incase we don't find her parents?"
"Yes if you can't find her parents I want to adopt her!"
"Ok take her to room 345 right next to your friend so that way it's easier for you!" she says and smiles at me
"Ok thank you for putting her near Leila."
"No problem I will have a doctor go up there and meet you there there will be lots of paper work to fill out."
"Ok."
I sneak past the area where Sam and all of them are cause I don't want them knowing about this and take the elevator up to floor 3 and walk down to room 345 I knock making sure no on is in there and then open the door the nurse came in shortly after I did.
"Hello I'm nurse Hannah and I'll be taking care of the patient I have a few questions to ask you!"
"Ok go ahead."
"Ok first of all what's your name?"
"Im Colby brock!"
"Ok what's the patients name?"
"I have no clue I found her out side the hospital."
"Ok do you know any info on the patient?"
"No I'm sorry I don't."
"Ok that's fine here fill out what you can on these papers."
She hands me the papers and I sit in a chair in the room and fill them out
*6 hours later*
My phone goes off startling me awake I look and see it was Sam calling me I see he's called 6 times before that so I call him back.
*phone call*
Hey Sam
Colby where are you are you ok
I'm ok I'm at the hospital just in a room with someone
Oh ok sorry for bugging you I was worried
It's ok Sam i know id do the same also I'll bring you your Oreos in a little bit after I quickly check on Leila
Ok see you then
*call ends*
I quickly grab my sack staying quiet so I don't disturb the girl and head into Leila's room to see 2 doctors standing at her bed.
"Is everything ok?"
I ask concerned
"Yes her heart rate went up meaning she should wake up with in 2 weeks!"
"That's great!"
I leave and let them do what they were doing and give Sam his Oreos
*10 days later*
Me and the trap house have taken turns staying at the hospital I've been there a lot more then they think cause if the other girl which I found out what happened to her parents.
