"Will you be alright?" He asked, which surprises me because he's not being a complete jerk. "Why won't I be? Didn't know you were concerned about me" I mockingly raised both of my eyebrows as I smirked. "I definitely am not concerned." He scoffed and rolled his eyes. Cumberbatch hurriedly fixed his things and I waved goodbye as he headed out.

I saw Alana and Amber heading my way as my eyes widen in shock. 'What are they even doing here?' I muttered to myself as I felt nervous that they might spread rumors about us and break my relationship with Vincent. I definitely don't like where this is going.

"I... wonder what was that?" Alana smugly smirked at me as she took the empty tea cup Professor Cumberbatch just used as she exaggeratedly observed it. Amber hummed as she gave an enigmatic smile.

"You've got yourself an unexpected company, huh?"

"Why do you care?" I snap at her as I narrowed my eyes at the both of them. "I don't care about you but admit it, it'll make a juicy gossip topic!" Alana snickered as she placed the cup back on the table. Her very presence seemed to buzz around me like a fly that you can never swat. Every word, movement and breath he performed seemed to irritate me to no end. She is so insecure of herself that she will always find a way to degrade others down or spread rumors of everybody. We're literally at the last year of college and she still acts like the antagonist of a cheesy high school drama film. "I wouldn't want to waste my time talking to you, so go fuck off and I already wanna plop down on my bed." I grabbed my black bag as I finished off my latte. I noticed Professor Cumberbatch's book on the table. I forgot to return it when I was admiring the book cover and how neatly-stored it was. I sighed as I put it inside my bag and zipped it closed. "Where are you going?" Amber held me still by grabbing on my shoulder. "Don't touch me. I told you, I'm going home." I replied as I harshly removed Amber's hand. "I'm not that immature to fight with the both of over something that ain't even a big deal." I snap.

"Alright, go on if you want to do so. Just remember I now have something against you."

"Okaaay. You do you, Alana." I chuckled dryly and gave them a poker face. I quickened my pace as I walked towards the exit to go home. It's been a really long day and I just want to plop down on my bed and sleep. I eventually reached my house and went straight to my room. I sat on my bed as I turned my phone on. I texted Vincent.

Me: Babe, Goodnight. I hope you're doing fine! Just checking in;) [7:34 PM]

I turned my phone off after I sent the message and lied down as I eventually fell asleep, drifting the world of dreams.

It was already mildly sunny afternoon, the pillows of cloud scattered around the light blue sky. I just finished eating lunch in the university cafeteria with my friends, each of us either heading to our next class or somewhere else. "I'm heading to Physics class." Ella informed us as she went the other way with other one of her friends. Me, Sienna, and Ethan are heading to the our Creative Writing class with Cumberbatch. "Have you guys studied for the exam for next week?" I asked them as we walked our way through the cobblestone path heading to the other university building.  "Oh come on, don't tell me you're already studying!" Ethan exaggeratedly makes a shocked expression. "Maybe she is already!" Sienna nudged me with her shoulder as I replied to them. "Not yet studying, don't worry." I laughed as I winked at them. When we stepped in the building, I saw Vincent using his mobile phone walking to Creative Writing class as well, I assume. I called out to him, "Vince!"

"Oh hey babe!" He grinned, showing of us perfect white teeth with his dimples. "Excuse us. You both can head to the class already." I smiled at them as Sienna nodded and went with Ethan to our next period. "Sure, just don't be late because of too much catching up." Ethan chuckled as he smirked. "Depeeends." I mischievously grinned as I approached Vincent. "How have you been, I haven't seen you in days!" I asked him. "I'm doing fine. I'm glad my hot girlfriend's concerned!" He teased me as I rolled me eyes. "Of course I am, idiot." I smacked him lightly on the shoulder.
