Chapter 13: Hawkins High school
✖️✖️✖️
It was now Tuesday morning and the 5 teens were up and ready making their way to Hawkins High school after their daily routine at Joe's. This time they were accompanied by 1 more teen. A curly haired boy, by the name of Finn Wolfhard.
After yesterday's talk with his parents, he promised to stay in Hawkins and avenge his brothers death. But in order to do that he needed to go to school since he was still underaged. Plus his mom wanted him to finish up high school at least, if he was to join the Serpents.
The boys were ecstatic to have Finn back again. They went on about being kings of Hawkins high, and talked about him joining the football team. Though Finn didn't pay much attention to the boys, he just nodded to every word they said. His focus was elsewhere as he talked with Millie on the way to school.
Millie was overjoyed that Finn decided to stay. Though she didn't know that it was for the wrong reasons he decided on staying.
"You nervous?" Millie asked as they approached the school. Finn and her were walking behind the group as they chatted about the upcoming football game that would take place Friday night.
Finn looked up from the ground and took a good look at the school that stood a couple feet in front of them. He took a shaky breath as he shook his head. "No.. should I be?" He asked nervously. Millie smiled at him. "Don't worry you'll be fine. Just keep you head down, and hold onto your backpack tightly. And if anyone tries talking to you walk fast." Millie said in a serious tone as she stopped Finn from walking closer to the school
Finn's eyes went wide and looked over to see if she was being serious. He saw the serious look on her face and he nodded slowly. A big grin grew on her face and she bursted out laughing. Finn furrowed his brows but quickly loosened as he realized she was joking. A smile grew on his face. "Oh you're evil Brown." He laughed.
Millie who was still laughing grabbed her stomach. "I'm sorry but- that was funny. You should have seen the look on your face." She laughed again. Finn shook his head keeping the smile on his face. "Well you sounded so serious! You would be a really great actor if you wanted." He laughed. Millie smiled.
The two continued walking towards the building and smiled at an annoyed looking Sadie who was standing by the entrance of the school. "About time!" She said before turning around and walking towards the door. "Welcome to Hawkins High Wolfhard." The two followed her inside and walked towards the boys who were standing by their lockers.
At the boys lockers there stood, Jaeden, Wyatt, Jack, Lillia, and Maddie. The group turned towards the 3 and greeted them. "Hey guys!" Wyatt spoke up first giving Sadie and Millie a hug, and a handshake for Finn. Soon the rest of the group all did the same.
"So Finn have you gotten your classes yet?" Maddie asked. Finn nodded and handed her the folded paper that was pushed inside his jean pockets.
Maddie scanned over the paper quickly as everyone waited for her to announce his classes. "Okay let's see.. 1st hour with Mr. Dobrik, English. 2nd hour with Mrs. Sinclair Calculas. 3rd hour with Mrs. Mendes Music. Lunch. 4th hour with Mr. Nash, History. And 5th hour with Mr. Clark, Elective." She finished off.
"Ah. Well it seems you have most classes with each of us." She said handing him back the paper. Finn looked over at Millie who was smiling. "What classes do I have with you?" He asked. "All first 3 varied with each of us.. and the last 2 with the boys." Finn nodded and shoved the paper back inside his pockets.
