Chapter 27: Valentine Owens

The six teens were all hanging out together at a booth inside 'Shake Shac' eating fries and milkshakes as they chatted amongst each other.
September was finally over, and it was already the first day of October. It was freezing out since it was raining. Well more like storming, the weather was wild out there. Which the boys absolutely hated due to their football game being cancelled.
So there they were on a Friday night, eating fries and milkshakes talking about the past, laughing and remembering the good o'l times.
"Do you guys remember when we would dress up to play D&D in Noah's basement?" Caleb asked smiling.
The boys plus Sadie all bursted out laughing and Millie smiled looking around at her friends. "Wait.. D&D? As in the board game that Noah always wants to play?.. What'd you guys dress up as?" She asked.
None of them spoke up, digging into their french fries. Millie frowned. "Oh come on! You guys have to tell me! Please!" She begged.
She looked at Finn giving him a pout. Finn tried so hard not to give in but after seeing Millie frown he gave in immediately.
He let out a sigh as he said. "Oh god this is so embarrassing." He buried his face in his left hand as his right hand was still wrapped around Millie's shoulders.
Millie smiled as Finn slowly pulled away his left hand from his face. He looked up at the boys and Sadie who all shook their heads. "Don't do it." Caleb whispered.
Finn looked between them and Millie before whispering an apology to them.
"Okay.. so in D&D there are characters.. For example Caleb is our Range. Gaten is our Bard. Sadie is our Zoomer. Noah is our wizard. And I'm our Paladin." Finn said smiling slightly.
Caleb put a hand over his face covering his face from embarrassment as he mumbled out. "Whipped."
Sadie laughed continuing after Finn. "Noah would dress up as a weird looking wizard! No not like Harry Potter! He had this pointy hat and weird blue robes it was super nerdy." Sadie and the boys laughed, as Noah looked greatly offended.
"Hey! You guys said my hat looked cool!" Noah crossed his arms.
"Yea we lied." Gaten said laughing. Millie was laughing too.
"We would all dress up as our characters, and play for hours on our campaigns." Caleb said smiling.
"Those were the good old days. You would have loved it Mills!" Sadie said.
"Yea you would have been one of the pretty princesses we got to rescue!" Gaten said with a cheeky smile.
Finn let out a cough. "Watch it Gaten." He said underneath his breathe. Millie chuckled and gave Finn a soft kiss on the cheek.
