Ha-Na painfully dragged herself up to her bedroom that she gratefully shared with Jungkook. Every single muscle, all of the soft tissue in her body screamed in agony- they were worked down to the bone, begging the woman to stop moving and just sit down. It was a pain to even walk up the stairs. Ha-Na was let go early, the other girls saw that she made good progress, and deserved to rest for the rest of the day.
However, they told her that tomorrow would be harder. She shivered at the thought; Sae-Young was in charge of her training session today, helping her learn evasion tactics with weapons. Tomorrow would be Namjoon's soulmate, who knows what she'll teach her. She'll probably be just as hard on her. Ha-Na sighed, just five more, then she can hopefully look to Jungkook for training. However, she doubted he would be lenient on her.
The woman groaned as she fell face first into the bed. Everyone else was still training, meaning she would be alone for a while, not that she minded anyways. In all honesty, Ha-Na was far too exhausted and sore to get up and freshen up. Her limbs locked up on her, and she found herself unable to move. The girls worked her down to the bone, she was struggling to keep up by the end of it. She was thankful that Jin's soulmate stepped in when she did.
Despite their overwhelming training session, Ha-Na was grateful that there were other girls she could confide in. She wasn't scared of talking to Jungkook when something was troubling her. However, there were certain things that she couldn't exactly talk to him about without making the man uncomfortable. Ha-Na was happy that they can relate to her.
Ha-Na had lost track of how long she laid on top of the bed like a starfish. She felt exhausted, but no part of her could fall asleep. Sure she took up all of the bed space, but it felt empty and cold without Jungkook. She's come to rely on him when it comes to falling asleep. While in his arms, she feels absolutely safe, shielded from the dangers of the world. Jungkook was her safe haven- she didn't think she would be able to find another one.
While laying face first on the bed, ignoring the risk of suffocation, she heard the door open. Ha-Na couldn't even turn her head to acknowledge Jungkook who sat down on the bed beside her. She groaned tiredly as he ran his fingers through her hair, which was still up in a ponytail.
"Baby," he cooed softly, rubbing circles into her shoulder blade with his thumb. "Let's take a bath? It will help you sleep better."
"I can't move Kook..." she sighed. "Everything hurts."Jungkook chuckled softly, running his hand up and down her back. Ever so gently, he flipped her over. The man scooped her up into his arms, carrying her bridal style. Ha-Na looked up at Jungkook with tired eyes, earning a comforting peck to the forehead. She snuggled into his chest as he carried her into the bathroom, before sitting her down on the toilet seat cover. He closed the door and locked it after turning on the faucet.
A steady flow of warm water filled the bathtub, and Jungkook poured bubble bath into the tub. Bubbles began to fill the tub, sparking up a smile on his lips.
After an awkward session of trying to remove their clothes, Jungkook kept his eyes closed as he and Ha-Na sat down in the bathtub. Once they were finally covered by the mass of soap bubbles, the mood in the bathroom began to shift to one of comfort.
Jungkook wrapped his arms around Ha-Na's waist, and pulled her back into his chest. She was too lethargic to resist, and simply relaxed against him. Ha-Na hummed softly as the hot water began to relax her muscles, and she closed her eyes in euphoria. With Jungkook's arms around her in addition to all of that, she was at peace.
The man smiled down at his soulmate as she wasn't uncomfortable with him at that moment. Either that, or she was just too tired to care that they were both naked and practically pressed against each other. Jungkook just loved the way Ha-Na sunk into his chest, no longer scared of body to body contact. She fit so perfectly against him, it caused him to grow so soft for her.
"How does it feel Ha-Na?" he asked. "Do you feel better?"
Ha-Na nodded silently, laying her head on top of his thick arm.
"This feels nice..." she whispered.
Jungkook chuckled softly. He too relaxed into her, and let his eyes close.
