In the back of the van, both Jungkook and Tokki sat on the vehicle bed, cleaning his trusty gun. His black and brown split eyes were fixed on the polished firearm in front of him, watching the cold steel glimmer underneath the pale moonlight. To think it was only a couple months ago where he almost killed Ha-Na with this gun, now he was going to use it to save her.
The white rabbit mask sat in his lap, waiting to be put on to fully unleash the beast waiting inside of Jungkook's body. Tokki was growing antsy and impatient with each day of planning, but it was the only way to ensure Ha-Na's safety, and the inevitable demise of Ha-Na's parents. Everyone inside the van was anxious and ready to kick some ass and rescue Ha-Na.
Last night, Jungkook found it difficult to sleep. Not only was the bed empty of Ha-Na's presence and her scent, but the aching pain in his chest was unbearable. It felt like he was burning from the inside out. What worried him the most that the pain inside his chest was nothing compared to what Ha-Na was feeling in that moment. More than anything, he wanted to rush over there, kill the people who took her and pull the woman into his arms and tell her everything would be okay.
But he couldn't- Jungkook had to follow through with the plan, if he didn't, not only would his soulmate be in danger, but everyone else as well. It was very crucial that they get to her without setting off the alarms littered throughout the house she was being kept in, and get her out before the elders went in and killed the parents. Both Jungkook and Tokki wanted to go in there and kill them himself, but Taehyung's soulmate was quick to point out that Ha-Na was suffering from separation trauma. The pain she would feel would be magnified, now that they were both bonded together. Jungkook's top priority would be to get to Ha-Na and get her back to the van.
"Hyung, are we close?" Jungkook asked, turning his head to Yoongi, who was monitoring GPS.
"Ten minutes away," he answered. "Ha-Na hasn't been moved, but we have to hurry."
Ten minutes felt like hours to everyone, however, Jin kept his foot on the gas to get there as soon as possible. The house slowly came into view, but the eldest made sure to stop and park the van out of sight. Their first approach would be to take out the guards watching the outside perimeter in the shadows before storming the front entrance.
"Alright everyone," Namjoon announced, turning back to his team in the back of the van. "Remember the plan. Maknaes, locate Ha-Na and bring her back to the van as soon as possible. The rest of us will hunt the bastards responsible down and eliminate them."
Everyone nodded, shoving their guns and knives into their respective holsters. Jungkook grabbed the mask and stared at it for a few seconds before slipping it onto his face.
"You ready Tokki?" Jungkook whispered to the monster inside of him.
Of course I am, I've been ready since the day she was taken.
"Oh, and one more thing," Namjoon added.
Everyone looked at the leader, waiting for him to deliver his final deliberation.
"No one else but us and Ha-Na comes out of that house alive."
A wicked smirk curled up on Tokki's lips and through his mask, he kissed the gun he held in his hand.
Don't worry baby, we're coming.
